This kid doesn't want to do much but take naps on a nice bed, receive lots of pets and get as many treats he can get his paws on! Beethoven is a gentle dainty dog when it comes to interacting with everyone and everything he meets. He ignores dogs for the most part and sometimes ignores people just to be able to sniff around longer. Since this kid is so calm we believe he could do well in any home that could provide lots of nap time and some good treats.

You see, I ended up at the shelter after my owners asked for help because there were so many of us canines! I am here with my friends Jazmine, Daisy and Bootsy who are all up for adoption too! I am an adorable, lovable 3 year old Beagle mix, who is weighing in at 20 pounds, am neutered, had my vaccines, HW negative and am micro chipped I am a shy boy at first, but once I get comfortable with you, it's on for lots of fun! I do the funniest walk on the leash (cuz I am learning what a leash is) as I walk a few steps, then I army crawl, walk a few steps and army crawl, lol! I am good with other dogs, but cats and children are unknown! My Foster Mom will update my house/crate manners once she knows in a day or 2. All things are new to me after living outside, but boy, do I ever so much love this living inside gig!! Now, I'm sure you noticed my eye--well, I had an injury to it that was never treated, so I ended up losing that eye when I got neutered at the shelter. The Vet checked me all out, and deemed it necessary as my sight was too far gone--this does not affect me in any way--It does make me look like a distinguished gentleman, don't you think? Mom does say that I need a secure FENCED yard--no exceptions--I like to run from my Foster Mom and Dad, playing "Catch me if you can" lol. But I am a Beagle after all too!" Story
Sandy is a 7 year old beagle mix that I adopted in 2020. She’s a wonderful house dog and companion. She knows basic commands, does well left alone for several hours but she does not take well to a crate. While she’s come a very long way since she was first rescued off the streets, she still needs a steady routine and takes anti anxiety meds daily. She’s the perfect dog for someone who would love a snuggle buddy. She is reactive to most other dogs during walks but she does know dogs she plays well with. We had kittens a few years ago that she got along with. She does well on a leash, in the car and at the vet outside of running into other dogs.I am rehoming her because I have grand children that now live in my home with special needs and a dog in the home is not working. Sandy would be happier attached to someone’s hip like she used to be to mine.
