Story
Copper is a 3-year-old Beagle who is content with the simple things in life: a leisurely neighborhood stroll, a cozy nap on the couch, a good meal, and having his favorite people all to himself. Sadly, Copper was surrendered to a rural county shelter for being "too expensive." If there is anything we know about dogs is yep they are but they are totally worth it! While he understandably took some time to settle into a new [foster] home, he has been a sweetheart from the beginning. He absolutely adores people and is happiest when receiving affection. He will even flop right over for belly rubs. He naps often and his light snoring let’s you know if he’s chosen a spot on the floor or couch to snooze the day away. He's housebroken and walks well on leash but his little legs don't require you to go very far and you’re definitely not going anywhere very quickly. In true Beagle form, Copper enjoys having a fenced in yard for exploring all the outdoor smells and burying his favorite toy to retrieve later. He has a surprising “alpha” side when it comes to other pets so needs to be the only pet. His ideal home would be a quiet, lower-traffic household where someone is home most of the time as he’s not a fan of being crated. He is UTD on vaccines, kept on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, & neutered. His adoption fee is $350. **PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION!!** 6-19-26: "I wanted to update you on my progress! While at times still fighting the leash, I have made such great strides in seeing that the leash is not so bad after all! I do love being outside exploring my fenced in back yard, and my house manners have greatly improved! Mom says you just have to keep me on a schedule! She is very pleased that my crate is clean and dry every morning too! I hope this great update will make you want to meet me, the happiest Beagle boy around!" 6-13-26: "Hello everyone! You have just landed on the profile of the HAPPIEST Beagle mix boy there is! My name is RINGO and if you will give me a minute of your time, I will tell you all about me! I have come to this great rescue after I was part of a hoarding situation, where our owner asked local Animal Control for help. We all ended up at the shelter, which wasn't bad, and everyone there loved and cared for all of us. They put me up on the adoption line with some of my pals, but it turned out that I was a tad bit fearful, so the shelter put out the rescue plea, and here I am! Now for my specifics: I am a Beagle mix(with what we do not know), about 5 years old and am weighing in at 22 pounds, neutered, chipped and had my vaccines. I am also heart worm negative! While I am great with other dogs, cats and children, I can't say, as my Foster home does not have either of those. My crate is kept clean and dry--my house manners are a work in progress, but you can't blame me, as I lived outside. Mom is helping to guide me with this and I am getting there! Those male wraps are helping me learn quickly too! My leash manners, well, I was terrified of it when I first got here, but now since Mom's been working with me, I am making great progress--I am not resisting near as much, and realizing it's not that bad!! My ideal owner will be someone who will love and care for me, and have patience with me as I navigate and learn this new life! Due to me being a Beagle, I will need a SECURE FENCED YARD!" "So, do I sound like that certain special guy you'd love to add to your life? If so, just email my Mom at citizens4animals@yahoo.com for application or any questions you may have about me! For fastest response, please DO NOT call the number on here, EMAIL, as the emails are constantly monitored! My adoption fee is $250.00 to cover my vetting" "Till we meet, remember BEAGLES RULE!!" Love, RINGO **GOOD VERIFIABLE VET REFERENCE REQUIRED**

**PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION!!** 5-21-26: "Mom wants you to know that I am the happiest wiggle butt around, and that my house/crate manners are really good! She said anyone would be lucky to have me in their life!" 5-1-26: "Hello everyone, my name is FELIX ALISTAIR, and I am so happy to be in my Foster home! You see, I ended up at the shelter after my owners asked for help because there were so many of us canines! I am here with my friends Jazmine, Daisy and Bootsy who are all up for adoption too! I am an adorable, lovable 3 year old Beagle mix, who is weighing in at 20 pounds, am neutered, had my vaccines, HW negative and am micro chipped I am a shy boy at first, but once I get comfortable with you, it's on for lots of fun! I do the funniest walk on the leash (cuz I am learning what a leash is) as I walk a few steps, then I army crawl, walk a few steps and army crawl, lol! I am good with other dogs, but cats and children are unknown! My Foster Mom will update my house/crate manners once she knows in a day or 2. All things are new to me after living outside, but boy, do I ever so much love this living inside gig!! Now, I'm sure you noticed my eye--well, I had an injury to it that was never treated, so I ended up losing that eye when I got neutered at the shelter. The Vet checked me all out, and deemed it necessary as my sight was too far gone--this does not affect me in any way--It does make me look like a distinguished gentleman, don't you think? Mom does say that I need a secure FENCED yard--no exceptions--I like to run from my Foster Mom and Dad, playing "Catch me if you can" lol. But I am a Beagle after all too!" "Do I sound like the perfect little man to add to your life? If so, just email my Mom at citizens4animals@yahoo.com for an application or any questions you may have about me! For fastest reply, PLEASE DO NOT CALL the number on here, email, as the emails are constantly monitored! My adoption fee is $250.00, which covers my current vetting provided." "Till we meet!" I am such a happy, happy girl!!" 5-7-26: "Hello everyone, it's me, shy CHLOE JANE, waiting to meet you! I have come to this great rescue when my Foster Mom noticed that I kept getting passed by in my kennel at the local shelter. I ended up there with a bunch of my friends after there were too many of us for our owner to handle. I am a shy girl who given time, snuggles up to you and will become comfortable, While I am shy, I am a happy girl who loves other dogs and children!! I am about 4 years old, 22 pounds and had a number of litters but now that is over for me! I am spayed, micro chipped, and had all my vaccines. Sadly, due to living in a kennel outside, I am heart worm+, but have begun my treatment. Please don't let that scare you off from meeting me! Mom says my house and crate manners are very good! I am a beautiful chocolate and white Beagle mix" "Do I sound like the best girl you'd love to meet? Story
Meet Mini, a 4-year-old mama dog whose greatest wish is finally having a family of her own. Mini was found behind an abandoned school in Puerto Rico with her puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. With little shelter and no one looking out for them, life was incredibly difficult. Despite the odds, Mini never gave up on her babies. Thankfully, rescue stepped in and gave this deserving family a second chance. Since then, Mini has spent many months in a loving foster home, learning that she no longer has to worry about survival. Her puppies have grown, and now it is finally Mini's turn to be cared for. She has blossomed into an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate dog who loves being close to her people. After years of putting everyone else first, Mini is discovering how wonderful it feels to receive love in return. She has adapted beautifully to life in a home and is working on being house trained. Mini is happiest when she is curled up nearby, soaking up attention and companionship. Mini has all the qualities that make a wonderful family dog. She is calm, loving, grateful, and eager to be part of a family. She carries herself with a quiet sweetness that makes everyone who meets her fall in love. She is currently in Puerto Rico but is ready to travel to either a foster home or her forever home in the States, whichever opportunity comes first. Transportation is included in her adoption fee. Mini spent years being a devoted mother and protector. Now she deserves a chance to simply be someone's beloved dog. She has done the hard part. All she needs now is a family willing to give her the happy ending she has waited so patiently for.
