Story
Meet Bowser! If you’re looking for an affectionate pal to hang out with, Bowser is your guy!! Bowser was rescued from an environment where he was alone outside for long periods of time. Yes, he loves outdoors or inside hanging out with his people.Bowser gets along with all humans and other dogs.  He is doing great with potty training—and is doggie-door trained, too. Like all Beagles he is food motivated, loyal, and loves to run and play. Due to his breed's tendency to "explore", Bowser needs a secure fenced yard. Bowser's foster said a better name for him might be "Velcro!" He loves attention and the new found comforts of a home. Bowser can't wait to find his forever home!! Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2187460##

Story
Sage is a 4-5 year old beagle. We don’t know her origin before she arrived at a rural shelter as a stray. Though she enjoys the company of other dogs, she’s still not too sure of humans. Her favorite place is a quiet corner of the house or in a crate. We can’t say for sure if she’ll ever be comfortable with human touch. An experienced or patient adopter with a quiet home is required. Sage’s made immense progress but still avoids human touch. She can be picked up and handled for vet appts etc. She goes outside for potty breaks and looks forward to meal time in her crate.. She’s being fostered in Charlotte with a smaller puppy and two other larger dogs. She’s spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations and prevention.

Story
Hi everyone my name is Gretchen and I am a three to four-year-old purebred Beagle girl that weighs 35 lb and I found myself homeless in a small town in Tennessee. People said that I was roaming the neighborhood for a while and no one knew who I belonged to. The shelter found Critter Cavalry Rescue to take me and I am looking for a home with another dog to hang out with and be best friends forever. I love people and I am friends with every dog and cat that I meet. As you can see, I am a happy girl and they tell me that I'm quite pretty too. No one knows much about me except that I have a sweet smile, a great personality and I love people that let me snuggle with them. I promise that I will be your cuddly snuggle bug and your best friend forever. I am looking for a Beagle loving home. I would welcome children as a part of my life and I can live with other dogs and even cats. They have tested me with everything and said I'm pretty perfect. If you are interested please write immediately to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 4, 2024, 10:14 pm

Story
You've come a long way Ms Dixie and we're so proud to show you off with your new fur coat that no longer is flea bitten and that happy smile that you share with all around you. Our girl Dixie was in a very sad situation with other pets in the home she was raised. Her elderly mom went to a nursing home and the caregiver that she was left with along with the others did not do them right and medically they became full of fleas and hair loss. This girl is totally healthy at the age of 3 years old and only 23 lbs.  She loves the big Pit mix dog in the Foster home and sleeps on top of him on the sofa watching TV. .  Dixie loves the black cat that is her best friend who sits by the refrigerator with her  begging for another treat. This Charming purebred Beagle is around young children and adored by everyone in the foster home. She   is crate trained and housebroken and totally healthy and happy. There is nothing like a Beagle and there is nothing like our sweet Dixie. If you were interested in adopting her please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comnfo PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 4, 2024, 10:14 pm
