Fancy 1s a 1 year old weighing 27lbs who is working on house training and crate training. She does well with other dogs and children.* Cats are unknown. She came to us after being abandoned in a trailer when the owners moved. Her adoption fee is $ 400.00 which includes her spay at our vet (which is scheduled), microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations and heartworm/lyme testing. Donut is a cute one-year old male Beagle who was brought to the HSOV during the overnight hours on May 21, 2023 after he was picked up on Lawn Lane in Belpre Ohio by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff. Donut was wearing a collar but, unfortunately, there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on his collar to enable us to locate his family ... And he was not microchipped. Donut has a black-and-brown short smooth coat with a large patch of white on his chest, white paws, a long tail, and a beautiful tan Beagle face with dark brown eyes, a black button nose on his slender muzzle, and large floppy ears which beg to be petted. True to his breed reputation, this little boy has the sweet personality for which Beagles are known (and prized as family pets). Donut has an affectionate disposition and was quick to bestow some great 'puppy kisses' on HSOV Volunteer/Staff Amy Rogers while she accompanied him for his outdoor photo session on the afternoon of May 22nd. Donut was eager to demonstrate his keen Beagle nose as he happily pranced around as though he had 'places to go and things to sniff'. Donut weighs 23.4 lbs. He walked fairly well on a leash for Amy. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Donut will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.

Brandy and her two adorable little boys (Kahlua & Bourbon) were brought to the HSOV on May 19, 2023 by a Good Samaritan who found them in the Beverly Ohio area .. Surprisingly nobody called or came looking for them. Momma Brandy is a beautiful 3-year old Beagle. She has a black/brown/white short smooth coat in the traditional clan colors of her noble breed, a long tail, and a lovely tan-and-white Beagle face with large floppy ears. Brandy weighs 26 lbs. Puppies Kahlua & Bourbon are estimated to be 4-months old, and they are nearly identical twins except for the markings on their cute faces. Kahlua (pictured in the middle) has a large white stripe on his forehead .. Bourbon (pictured on the right) has a faint white stripe on his forehead. Kahlua weighs 11 lbs and Bourbon weighs 10 lbs. We will post individual photos of each of these gorgeous Beagles but wanted to share a few family photos as a 'sneak preview'. UPDATE: Puppies Bourbon & Kahlua went home with (separate) foster families on May 30, 2023 who plan to adopt them after they are neutered.

Brandy is a beautiful 3-year old Beagle who was brought to the HSOV on May 19, 2023 along with her two adorable 4-month old little boys (Kahlua & Bourbon) by a Good Samaritan who found them in the Beverly Ohio area. Brandy has a black/brown/white short smooth coat in the traditional clan colors of her noble breed, a long tail, and a lovely tan-and-white Beagle face with dark brown eyes which appear to be enhanced with black eyeliner, a dusting of white on her muzzle, and large floppy tan velvet ears. This sweet girl has a lovable, affectionate personality and has obviously been a great mother to her puppies. They were kept together in one of our large rooms for the first few days after their arrival, and momma Brandy was quick to engage in playtime with her boys. The Good Samaritan who found Brandy and her puppies told us that they did great with children during their short stay with them. Brandy was in love with HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver when Emily accompanied her outdoors for glamour photos on the afternoon of May 19th (and gave Emily lots of hugs and kisses afterwards). Brandy weighs 26 lbs. She doesn't appear to have had much leash training, but Brandy made a noble effort with Emily by her side and did fairly well on a leash. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Brandy and her puppies were held for three days so that their family would have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership. Surprisingly nobody called or came looking for this little family.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Piper. I was found as a stray and brought to the Olive Branch so my owner could find me. Sadly, nobody called for or looked for me. So, here I am looking for a new home. I am a very loving girl, who would make any one a wonderful companion. I play fetch, am learning to walk on a leash, and sit on command. I would love to have an active home with someone who will take me for adventures like long walks and  car rides. As much as I love to run and play, I do need a fenced yard.  I seem to get along well with other dogs, but I need to meet any other dog buddies you may have. I don't seem to mind cats either. I'm a very active girl, so older children would be better.  I have been spayed, combo tested (all negative), dewormed, vaccinated, and I'm up to date with my preventives.
