Story
Allow us to introduce you to COOKIE, a 3 year old mixed breed who came to our pound after being found on a local highway. COOKIE is the sweetest girl. Between her wonderful personality and her short legs, we think there may be some Beagle in the mix. COOKIE is quite the little lover. She is affectionate and the more love you give her, the more affectionate she becomes. Her biggest motivators are love and snacks (another reason we think there is a Beagle in there). When she has to go out, she whines. She's met a few kids and has been good with them. She doesn't seem to mind the other dogs at the pound. We don't know about cats. COOKIE has best friend potential because she's happy to do whatever you do. Want to go for a long walk? COOKIE is your girl. Want to nap all afternoon on the couch? COOKIE is your girl. Meet Rocksalt, a 4-year-old beagle who knows exactly who he is — and likes it that way. This handsome guy is polite, intelligent, and proudly independent. He’ll happily sit for treats (because manners matter), but he’s also not afraid to march to the beat of his own drum.Rocksalt enjoys his space, appreciates good company, and carries himself like a seasoned gentleman who’s seen a thing or two. He’s not clingy, not chaotic — just a well-balanced, confident dog who knows how to enjoy life on his own terms.Rocksalt’s Ideal Home:A home that appreciates a dog with personality, independence, and a touch of old-soul charm. Story
My name is Boone and I have been at the shelter since 2024. For a senior dog I am very active- I like to run and play fetch. I do very well on the leash and would make a great walking buddy. I also do good for my baths. I listen very well and I love meeting people. I love belly rubs and squeaky rubber balls, and my favorite game is to play chase in the run. As a senior, I think i'm ready for my very own special person and would be the only animal in the house.

Story
Meet Maui!  Maui is a 3-month-old beagle mix with big puppy energy and even bigger curiosity. He’s a happy, fun-loving guy who adores people, loves playing with other dogs, and treats the yard, and the house, like one giant discovery zone. Shoes have recently been promoted to “very interesting chew objects,” but don’t worry… we’re working on redirecting him to toys (which he also loves once reminded they exist). Maui is crate trained and making progress with housebreaking. He’s a quick study, learning by watching the other dogs in his foster home. He’ll politely sit for treats and meals; he just hasn’t connected that behavior to the actual word “sit” yet. Baby steps. He also understands that outside = potty… he’s just still negotiating the “not inside” part of that agreement. Maui will howl like a hound and also "talks" to you from time to time. Maui came to us from a rural county shelter in Ohio, and while we don’t know much about his early life, his strong interest in food suggests he may not have always had consistent access to it. Because of that, we’ve been working with him on positive food interactions and building good habits around eating. He’s doing really well and continues to improve, but he’ll need a patient, committed family who can keep up his training and help him grow into the confident, well-mannered dog he’s clearly meant to be. If you’re looking for a playful, smart, slightly mischievous puppy who will keep you laughing (and maybe hide your shoes just in case), Maui might be your perfect match. We don't know Maui's full breed mix, but we are estimating his full-grown size will be on the larger end of a "medium" dog. Maui is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $350. Apply today at www.rescue330.org! ##2611867##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.WARNING: CUTENESS OVER LOAD!  Cagney and Lacey are two sweet girls who are thriving together in foster care. They came to the pound as strays, and staff quickly noticed they did much better when housed together. Because of that, they may be bonded and are happiest side by side. Both girls are approximately 15 lbs and look like mini boxers. Both girls have been friendly with every human they’ve met so far. While they haven’t had direct exposure to children yet, they show very good potential with proper introductions. They also appear to have good potential with other dogs. Cagney and Lacey are still learning the basics of home life. They’re eager, attentive, and listen well when redirected, but they do need reminders—especially when it comes to jumping up to say hello. They are also learning proper leash manners and will benefit from continued consistency. A fenced yard would be ideal so these happy, energetic girls can run and play together. They are long legged little girls and will need a 4' or higher fence.  If you’re looking for two affectionate, fun-loving companions who already support and comfort one another, Cagney and Lacey might be the perfect addition to your family.     If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here:  adoption application For those viewing on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal please click on More About Rose's Rescue, you may fill out adoption application from there.
