We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

He is just the most sweet, happy go lucky guy, who gets along with the other dogs and the cats in his current foster home. Due to being tied outside, he is still working on his crate training, learning to go potty just outside, and learning how to walk on a leash. His new home should be ready to continue working with him on all of these, so that he can be the best addition to his new family he can be. He has not been kid tested, but we feel he would be fine with proper introductions. His ideal home would have a fenced in area for him to be able to go out and potty and explore without having to be tied out. He is ready to bring all of his smiles and love to his new home! He is currently in our DASH Prison Program where his handler says he is a great dog, who loves being outside, is great on a leash and very manageable. He also loves relaxing inside after a nice walk or play session. He is crate trained, potty trained in the prison setting and is very sociable. He love female dogs, but would do best with a proper introduction to male dogs, as he can be a little picky in his male friends. He is currently learning all of his basic commands and doing really well with all of them. This boy has not been kid or cat tested, but feel he would be a great family pet. This is Deebo, a 4-year-old Beagle/Cavalier mix (born 12/22/21) with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He definitely leans more toward his Beagle side—he’s curious, expressive, and yes…he loves to bark. Deebo is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he’s close to his people. He loves being cuddled, soaking up attention, and will gladly spend time sunbathing in a warm spot whenever he can. He’s the kind of dog that wants to be part of your daily life and will make himself right at home beside you. This decision has been really hard for us. With two boys under 3, life has gotten very busy, and we simply don’t have the time and attention that Deebo truly deserves. He would do best in a home where he can get more one-on-one time, companionship, and consistency. We’re looking for a loving, patient home that understands his Beagle nature and will embrace both his sweet, cuddly side and his vocal personality. He has so much love to give.
