Since then, they have spent the last 5 weeks thriving in a loving foster home alongside their mom, Rose.During their time in foster care, they have been well socialized with children and other dogs and have already gotten a great start on potty training. These resilient little bears have come so far and are now ready to find the loving forever homes they deserve.Each puppy is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption.If you are looking to add a cuddly new “bear” to your family, stop by and meet Honey Bear, Grizzly Bear, Yogi Bear, and Teddy Bear!

He is a 1 year old beagle.    Jake came to OBHR from a local shelter.  We know from his foster that he his house broken and crate trained and good with both a young and older dog, but he is a young and active guy so another young dog and active family will be best for this beagle boy! He will require a home with a fenced in yard and his adoption fee is $300. He is currently being fostered in Columbus. He has not been cat tested but we do know…no farm animals! He is NOT chicken friendly. Let’s just say that’s why this sweet boy found his way to rescue! But that’s ok Jake! We will find you a home with no chickens!    Adoption Process: To meet one our dogs you must first fill out our application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Upon approval you will be given an approval code to email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Approvals are good for 6 months for any current or future dogs. After 6 months you will be directed to fill out an updated application. Please note we only process applications where the adopter lives in OH, IN, KY, PA, WV, lower MI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet the dog they are adopting. Dogs locations are listed on their profile description on our website. Dogs are NOT all located in Brookville, that is our mailing address. She came to us as a stray from a local shelter. She is a very sweet and active dog who loves to run and play! She will need a home with a fenced in yard. Annie follows the other dogs in the foster home to go outside and potty, and she does very good in a crate when her foster family is not home. She has not been tested around cats but does great with all of the other dogs in the house. She is spayed and up-to-date on all of her shots and ready for a new home. Her adoption fee is $300.She weighs approximately 40 pounds. Annie is currently being fostered in the Dayton area! If you are interested in Annie your first step is to fill out the adoption application on our website at ohiobassetrescue.com.
