She has obviously been let down by humans and has no reason to trust me, but she gave me kisses on the way home, and is content in the cage right now, observing us, decompressing. Most importantly, this girl can start healing in a quiet place. Persimmon is a 10 year old girl now thought to be a beabull….beagle bulldog….who was rescued by a Good Samaritan and taken to a shelter. She is now with OBHR and ready to start a new chapter in life! She is a 10 year old mix who was found by a Good Samaritan and taken to a local human society. She has already been spayed and had a few lumps removed that are not anything major, treated for eye infections and her skin issues. She is already doing so much better now but the kennel is no place for a sweet older gal! We will update you on her more once her foster gets to know more about her. This sweet boy is about 7-8 years old, basset beagle mix, and is about 37 pounds. He was found as a stray so we don’t know his background but we do know a lot about him! Jasper LOVES to be outside and sniff so he will require a fenced in yard! He does great with other dogs and cats! (Well he’s actually afraid of the cats!) He sleeps in a dog bed in his foster mom’s bedroom and is just the bestest of boys! She doesn’t crate him when she is gone and he is perfectly fine! He will probably need a bit of refresher in his new home, watch for his signs, when he has to go potty so we don’t think he was a family pet before but he is doing TERRIFIC now! His foster mom loves him to pieces and wants the best home for him! He would make a perfect pet for a senior who just wants a baby to love and won’t be too energetic but still have A LOT of love and life left in him!
