Story
Charlie Beagle Senior   Charlie is a 35 pound, 9 year old, neutered Beagle who was recently surrendered to the rescue when his family was moving out of the country.  He is described as a cuddly, affectionate dog who enjoys other dogs and is currently sharing a foster home with another Beagle.  True to his Beagley nature, he is a foodie and will steal food if given the opportunity.  His previous family even indicated he knew how to move chairs to get food off the table!!  Also, in typical Beagle fashion, he can be vocal and may howl or whine when anxious.  He may also bark when he sees other dogs and be eager to interact with them.  Despite being a senior, he is an active, energetic boy.  He is not crated trained and likes to sleep in his little bed or on the furniture.  Charlie's ideal home would have a fenced yard or be willing to take him out multiple times a day on leash walks to explore and do his business.  His previous home indicated he was good with cats and children but we have not seen him interact with either.   A home where someone is home more often than not, would best suit Charlie.  His prior home left him alone and indicated he would bark initially when left alone.  He will follow his nose and need to be in a fenced area when offleash.  February 8, 2026, 9:11 am

Story
Meet Tansy   Age: 9 months Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Beagle Mix Color: Brown / White Weight: 9.1 kg Height: 40 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story   Tansy was rescued during a severe cold wave. She had been living tied up outside a factory, exposed to the freezing weather. Thankfully she was rescued and brought to safety. Now she is safe, warm, and ready to find a loving forever home.   ‍‍ Personality with People   Tansy is a very affectionate and people-loving dog. She happily approaches both familiar people and strangers, rubbing against them and asking for attention.   She loves being petted and handled. Even people she meets for the first time can pick her up, and she often rolls over to show her belly.   She is friendly with both women and men and does well with children under 13 years old.   Socialization with Other Dogs   Tansy is friendly with other dogs and enjoys greeting them and inviting them to play, even if they are strangers.   She tends to get along best with dogs of a similar size. If a dog is very rough or has very high energy, she may choose to avoid them.   She is not confrontational and usually walks away if another dog is pushy. While she enjoys having dog friends, she is independent enough to do well as the only dog in the home.   Cats   Tansy has not been formally tested with cats. When she sees cats during walks, she watches them with curiosity but follows her handler when guided away. A cat test can be arranged if needed.   Energy Level   Tansy has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and exploring during walks, but after exercise she settles down nicely and rests calmly.   Walks   She does not have extensive leash experience yet, but she follows people well and does not pull strongly on the leash. She especially enjoys sniffing and exploring during walks.   Other Notes   • No food guarding toward people or dogs • Rarely barks • No separation anxiety observed • Calm and quiet in a kennel/crate • Mostly prefers outdoor potty   Tansy is a sweet and affectionate young dog who truly loves people. She would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a friendly, loving, and easygoing dog.  QUICK FACTS  Name: April Age: About 4 years old Gender: Female (Not Spayed) Breed: Beagle Mix Color: White and Brown Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was neglected by my owner with a broken home and with no food or water. Luckily, I was found by kind rescuers and was able to give birth to six beautiful babies who found their forever home. I am now ready to meet my forever family as well and start a new chapter of my life!     MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  Hi, my name is April and I’m the mother of the six beautiful babies you may have seen, including Moyul, Mohyun, Moram, Morin, Mohun and Mogyeol! I may seem a bit cautious at first but once I open up, you’ll see that I am a very friendly dog that likes treats and people! I’m affectionate and like to lie down on your lap and sleep by your side, all cuddled up! People tell me that I’m very cute, and you’ll see it when you meet me!     MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I am a bit timid at first, but with a little bit of time and treats, I will open up! Once we become friends, I can be pet and be held in your arms!  · With Dogs: I am friendly with dogs, especially with those that are bigger than me! However, I may respond if another dog provokes me, therefore a careful introduction is recommended.  · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown (Cat test can be requested to ensure the best fit)   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I enjoy my playtime outdoors and like to snuggle inside just as much! I may pull on the leash at times, but I am generally good at following my handler!     TRAINING & HABITS  I don’t guard my food from people or dogs. I may bark when I see strangers, but I am calm when placed in a kennel. I like to potty outside.     MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  I may need some time to adapt to the new environment, but once I open up, you’ll see the lovely side of me and you’ll fall in love!    April's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2646750##
