Story
Meet Holly!  Holly is a sweet, spunky beagle who will be turning 4 years old on August 26th — and she's ready to celebrate with her forever family! This happy girl lives for her sniffy walks, where every sniff is an adventure and every blade of grass tells a story. Holly loves belly rubs, butt scritches, and has a big personality to match her big beagle heart. She's never shy about saying hello to her fellow four-legged friends with her signature beagle aroos from across the way! Due to a previous leg injury, Holly does best with shorter, calmer walks — perfect for someone who enjoys a leisurely stroll rather than a marathon. She still gets all the enrichment she needs through her beloved sniff work, so her nose stays just as busy as ever! Holly is incredibly food and treat motivated, making her a joy to work with. She's adaptable, happy, and settles beautifully into new surroundings. After a good walk, you'll find her curled up right beside you on the couch or snuggled in bed — because where you are is exactly where she wants to be. Holly would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not, as she doesn't love being left alone. She would do best with a calm canine companion by her side to keep her company and help her feel right at home! If you're looking for a sweet, soulful, adventure-loving companion who will fill your home with love (and the occasional awooo), Holly just might be your girl.    April 19, 2026, 8:45 am

Story
Charlie is a 35 pound, 9 year old, neutered Beagle who was recently surrendered to the rescue when his family was moving out of the country.  He is described as a cuddly, affectionate dog who enjoys other dogs and is currently sharing a foster home with another Beagle.  True to his Beagley nature, he is a foodie and will steal food if given the opportunity.  His previous family even indicated he knew how to move chairs to get food off the table!!  Also, in typical Beagle fashion, he can be vocal and may howl or whine when anxious.  He may also bark when he sees other dogs and be eager to interact with them.  Despite being a senior, he is an active, energetic boy.  He is not crated trained and likes to sleep in his little bed or on the furniture.  Charlie's ideal home would have a fenced yard or be willing to take him out multiple times a day on leash walks to explore and do his business.  His previous home indicated he was good with cats and children but we have not seen him interact with either.   We would only recommend a home with children if the children were older and respectful of his boundaries.  A home where someone is home more often than not, would best suit Charlie.  His prior home left him alone and indicated he would bark initially when left alone.  He will follow his nose and need to be in a fenced area when off leash.  Charlie can be uncomfortable being handled by people he doesn't know aka strangers and by the veterinarian.  Anti-anxiety medication provided to him before he goes to the vet helps ease his concerns.  He would also benefit from a home that is able to read his body language and instruct new people to go slow when he is uncomfortable with handling.   April 19, 2026, 8:45 am

QUICK FACTS  Name: Mr. Chu Age: About 7 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Beagle Mix Color: Brown and White Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was rescued in April 2021 from a shelter. Since then, I’ve been given a new chance at life and have been waiting patiently for my forever family. I’m ready to leave my past behind and start a happy new chapter with someone to call my own.    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues • Left hind limb missing at the time of rescue    MY PERSONALITY  I’m a calm and gentle soul with a sensitive heart. I can be a little fearful of people at firstbut with time and patience, I begin to feel safe. When I trust you, I show it in my own special way—leaning my little body against your legs and quietly sharing my affection. I grow deeply attached and rely strongly on my person. I am ready to meet my family, and I will offer quiet loyalty, deep trust, and a love that feels truly special.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I am cautious in the beginning, but I can be pet after we become friends! I can even be held in your arms! With some time and treats, I am sure we will become the best of friends!   · With Dogs: I greet other dogs, but I like to take things slow and I enjoy my personal space. I am gentle at heart, and I avoid conflict even when another dog provokes me.  · With Cats: I get curious when I see cats and I like to observe, but I don’t chase after them.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I enjoy playing outside, then I am happy to relax inside afterwards! I have a lot of walking experience and wonderful leash manners! I don’t pull and naturally match your pace, making walks peaceful and enjoyable.    TRAINING & HABITS  I don’t guard my food from other people or dogs. I may bark when I am in need of your attention, or when I see strangers. I am calm when I am placed in the kennel. I know how to get in and out of cars. I am trained to potty both indoors and outdoors.     MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  I am missing one of my back legs, but it doesn’t stop me from living comfortably or enjoying daily life. I will do best with a calm and understanding family who will give me the time I need.   Mr. Chu's Youtube Playlist     Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2666603##

Story
Hello there! My name is Todd, Male - pending neuterBeagle MixApprox. 9 years oldI'm a pint-sized Beagle mix with all the loving and sassy traits you'd expect from my breed.I'm incredibly friendly with everyone I meet. Whether it's humans or potential furry friends, I'm always eager to lend in for a good scratch. Don't be surprised if I roll over and show off my tummy-that's just my way of asking for some extra attention! While I enjoy my meals and treats at a normal pace, you'll find that I'm a very good and gentle boy when it comes to taking treats. I haven't shown much interest in toys, but let me tell you, people, praise, and treats are definitely my favourites! If you're generous with any of these, we'll get along perfectly.I must admit, my leash skills and obedience training could use a bit of work. I get so excited that these little toe beans can't keep still! Even though I'm a senior boy, I still get the zoomies and become very excited at the thought of yummy treats. But honestly, who doesn't love a good treat? While I haven't had the chance to meet other furry friends yet, I believe that with the right introduction, I could socialize well with another friendly, laid-back dog. I haven't met any kitties either, but my strong Beagle nose sure can smell them!If you're looking for a loving, laid-back companion who will fill your days with joy and a little bit of sass, look no further.
