Story
Still No Interest?! Rolly Can’t Believe It Either Rolly is truly one of the sweetest souls we’ve met—and we’re stunned he’s still waiting. At just 1 year old and 40 lbs, this handsome boy is house-trained, crate-savvy, and gentle as they come. He’s a little shy at first, but with a calm home and a confident dog buddy by his side, Rolly thrives. He’s been learning how good life can be—walks on a leash, snuggles on the couch, and toys that squeak (not cats, though…he thinks those are toys). Once he feels comfortable with you (which won’t take too long, we promise!), he gives the best cuddles and kisses! Loves: soft voices, kind humans, and dog friends Pass on: cats Needs: patience, love, and a dog buddy to show him the ropes Rolly is ready to blossom into the loyal, snuggly best friend he was born to be. Let’s find this sweet boy the home he deserves. Apply to adopt Rolly at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RRSC/Dog

Story
Bowie came in to the rescue terrified. You can tell he more than likely has never felt a kind touch. He is learning not all humans are bad and soon started following his foster mom around the house. You are safe now little man! He will do best in a home with patient adopters that give him time to adjust and a fenced in yard. We are already seeing him become more relaxed but the outside world is still a scary place. Baby steps! Bowie is new to the rescue and we will update his bio as we learn more about him. **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.  We do allow out of state adoptions and any transport costs are at the expense of the adopter.  If you have further questions about this dog, please email us at ccradopt@gmail.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible. Please note we are unable to hold dogs for adopters as this ties up valuable foster homes. Please understand that we are an all volunteer group and we have jobs outside of this organization.  We do our best to provide quick responses but occasionally they are a little slower.  If you do not receive a response in 48 hours, please resend to make sure it's received. ##2454199##

Story
🌟 Meet Farah 🌟 This sweet one-year-old beagle mix has come such a long way since she was rescued in March 2024 from the woods of Elloree, SC. Farah and her siblings had no human contact and were terrified of people. At first, she was so scared we couldn’t even get close to her—she would cower or run away. Thanks to her amazing foster family, Farah has blossomed into a gentle and loving pup. Here’s what her fosters have to say: 💖 Farah is a shy girl at first but warms up quickly to love and patience.
🏡 She’s potty trained and adores snuggling on the couch.
🐾 Farah loves to run and play, her big floppy ears bouncing with every leap. 💧Farah loves playing in the water!
👶 She’d do best in a home without young kids, as fast movements can still make her nervous. Farah is fully vetted (46lbs) and ready for her forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender companion with a heart full of love, Farah is waiting for you!
