Bailey can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet and loving personality really shines through. He loves to snuggle and enjoys sleeping in bed with his people. Bailey gets along great with other dogs, cats, and even horses! He hasn’t been around children yet, but we think he would likely do well with patient, respectful kids. He is also almost fully potty trained and continues to make great progress. Bailey needs a home with a physically fenced yard and a patient, understanding family who will give him the time he needs to settle in and feel safe. Once he knows he can trust you, he is a loving little companion who just wants to be close to his people. Bailey is ready to find a family who will love him as much as he will love them. Our cup runneth over with innocent puppies who are left in rural shelters who cannot find homes or rescues to help them. Critter Cavalry Rescue is begging for help with these 7 week old 4-6 pound puppies who are languishing at a shelter that will soon have to euthanize in order to make room. There are 30+ more puppies at this same shelter that are not moving anywhere. These little precious munchkins are going to be 40 pound pups tops but for now…. they are little and desperate for a foster home. Chance looking for his second chance Meet Chance Some dogs are given a name that fits them perfectly, and Chance is one of them.This sweet 5-year-old Beagle mix received his name because he was given a second chance at life—and he has embraced it with his whole heart. Chance came from a hoarding/ animal abuse case where his owners were consequently arrest, arrested. Despite everything he's been through, Chance has never lost his love for people. His tail still wags, his eyes still light up when he sees you, and he still believes that his forever family is out there waiting for him. Chance is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves attention, enjoys spending time with his people, and has a gentle, loving personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with him. He is a little on the chubby side at 56lbs and loves to be a couch potato, though we have put him on an exercise regimen and a diet. Chance is currently heartworm positive, but that doesn't define who he is. He is receiving treatment and deserves the comfort of a loving home while he completes his journey to recovery. This beautiful purebred Beagle girl called Brittany is our pride and joy to offer to a Beagle loving family. Her story is sad and one that will make you sad and mad all rolled in to one roller coaster of emotions. A young newly wed couple were driving from their home in Chattanooga, on their way to a honeymoon in Nashville, TN. Out of the corner of their eye while driving, they saw a truck pulled over and pushing this girl out onto the side of the road and then drive away. They owned two dogs of their own and it broke their heart to see such meanness. She was in a desperate situation. They pulled over and took her in to their car and then started making calls to shelters and rescues in the Nashville area where they were destined to arrive in a few hours. They got Critter Cavalry on the phone and we stepped up to take her in immediately and we would make sure she had a future family who would never do such a horrible thing as to abandon her. What we have found out with Brittany is that she is a happy and inviting girl who loves to play with other dogs and who loves to spoken to with kindness. She craves love which we are sure she got little of before. Her fav game is to chase a ball. She is young as in probably a year or 2 at the oldest and she weighs 26 pounds. She is being spayed 10/23 and has already started her shots and worming. She is picture perfect if you want a Beagle or small dog that is not tiny but resilient and fun and loving. We know she loves couches and dog company for playtime and hanging out. She’s housebroken and will definitely need a fenced yard to keep that Beagle nose safely within sight of your back door. Everyone loves a Beagle and Kenny B is no exception to being a Beagle that especially needs love and some much needed personal guidance. This 3 year old Beagle boy is 26 pounds and pretty much ALL Beagle. But he needs someone to color inside the lines and shape him into an exceptional fellow that we know he is capable of being. He was found as a stray with his brother Dean and at this stage of life he is a blank canvas that needs polishing and molding. Kenny B is healthy and thankfully heartworm negative. True to form this boy is full of energy and lots of hunting instincts that cannot be denied. His mind and body and tail are always busy wagging and exploring his outdoor environment. Fortunately despite being abandoned and found as a stray, this boy is friendly with humans, kids and other dogs are welcome new friends to discover for him. This boy Kenny B can accept AND give love generously and without hesitation. And of course he needs a fenced yard that he cannot escape. He will test you at first on that fencing thing but you as the human are smarter than him. Secure the yard well and then no problem. He is good on a leash and knows the sit commands only. You can continue and teach him more, which we know he will learn quickl Beagles are a man's best friend in life. Kenny B has the potential to be the truest friend you might ever have in life.
