Story
Scout may be short one leg, but that sure doesn't slow him down! He's friendly and ready to go on any adventure his family can take him on! He's about 3 years old and the perfect size to be a ride-along buddy! ** Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs. When Scout arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed' game, and the most guesses were that he is a Beagle mix, but I know that's just a guess! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Story
Meet Yoda — yes, the ears are real, and yes, they have their own zip code. This 4-year-old beagle master has unlocked the ancient wisdom of the universe… and it mostly says: follow the smell, find the snacks. Yoda explores the yard like a true Jedi of joy — nose down, tail up, wagging at hyperspeed. Every leaf must be investigated. Every breeze must be sniffed. Every crinkle of a treat bag must be answered immediately. His philosophy is simple: adventure first, snacks always. He’s carefree, goofy, and ridiculously sweet, getting along great with other dogs and charming everyone he meets with those legendary ears and happy-go-lucky vibe. If treats are involved, he will also demonstrate advanced listening skills and possibly teleport to your side. Strong with the snack force, this one is. 🐾

Story
Meet Grant, a distinguished Beagle-Hound mix who truly lives up to his presidential namesake. Much like the 18th president, this Grant is a man of the people—he is incredibly social, thrives in the company of other dogs, and believes his "union" with his humans is the most important thing in the world. While he carries himself with a certain quiet dignity, he isn't afraid to address the nation (or at least the neighborhood) with a majestic howl whenever a siren rings out. After a long day of "campaigning" for treats and belly rubs, this sweet boy is just looking for a peaceful place to retire. Grant isn't asking for a monument; he’s just looking for a soft spot to land and a family to call his own.
