Meet Stella (Molly)! The perfect active companion who can go all day, or just chill and relax. 1.5-2 years old and 28-30 pounds of solid muscle who loves to run and would do great with a similar sized pup friend!Formal positive training (6sessions)Come, sit, down, stay, place, focus (eye contact) and off (or leave it). She is treat motivated, and is smart as a whip! The healer and beagle in her shine when it comes to training! She loves playing fetch too!She does need more help with loose leash walking, and she did great with the trainer on this! She wants nothing more than belly rubs, and to snuggle with her person. Needs someone on the active side since she does like to “work”. She is so smart i bet she’d learn advanced commands and “tricks” for treats. Loves meeting new people and would love another pup to play chase with. All training homework is available to her forever family.Meet Stella (Molly)! The perfect active companion who can go all day, or just chill and relax. 28-30 pounds of solid muscle. Is in foster care, where she’s learned perfect manners on house training (she will let you know if she needs potty time)! We have done some formal positive training where she’s learned basic obedience skills. Come, sit, down, stay, place, focus (eye contact) and off (or leave it). She is treat motivated, and is smart as a whip! The healer and beagle in her shine when it comes to training! She loves playing fetch too!She does need more help with loose leash walking, and she did great with the trainer on this!Current foster mom has shoulder and  back issues that have prevented us from working on that as much as we should—no fault of hers! She wants nothing more than belly rubs, and to snuggle with her person. Needs someone on the active side since she does like to “work”. She is so smart i bet she’d learn advanced commands and “tricks” for treats. Loves people and would love another pup to play chase with. Is fine with cats unless they run, then she wants to chase them and boss them too (but has never hurt them). That would probably improve with more structured walks and exercise. All training homework is available to her forever family.Stella Loves to play ball and brings it back! Wants to be close to, snuggle and gives lots (and lots) of kisses to her people. Is learning sit, down, and come, needs more leash work as she likes to “herd” her person. Too curious about cats, and wants to chase or “herd” them too! Loves to run in the yard and wants a buddy to chase, or for them chase her. Fully of energy and has a friendly, loving disposition to all the people she meets. Working on house training.Stella is about a year old, 22 pounds and a beagle heeler mixAvailable dogs are met by pre-approved adopters ONLY after a match is made. The application is the first step. Scout may be short one leg, but that sure doesn't slow him down! He's friendly and ready to go on any adventure his family can take him on! He's about 3 years old and the perfect size to be a ride-along buddy! ** Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs. When Scout arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed' game, and the most guesses were that he is a Beagle mix, but I know that's just a guess! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. Story
Introducing Roosevelt, a sturdy Beagle-Hound mix who is a bit larger in stature than his brother Grant, but has a heart that is just as soft. True to his namesake, Teddy, this Roosevelt believes in "walking softly"—he can be a little shy at first and takes his time getting to know new faces. However, once you win his trust, he’ll eagerly lean in for his favorite thing in the world: a good, long ear scratch. While he is a sweet and gentle soul who finds comfort in having a canine companion by his side, he does believe in a "Square Deal" when it comes to his belongings; he isn’t always the best at sharing his toys and prefers to keep his treasures to himself. Roosevelt is a loyal, quiet leader looking for a patient home where he can truly flourish and show off his affectionate side

Story
Meet Grant, a distinguished Beagle-Hound mix who truly lives up to his presidential namesake. Much like the 18th president, this Grant is a man of the people—he is incredibly social, thrives in the company of other dogs, and believes his "union" with his humans is the most important thing in the world. While he carries himself with a certain quiet dignity, he isn't afraid to address the nation (or at least the neighborhood) with a majestic howl whenever a siren rings out. After a long day of "campaigning" for treats and belly rubs, this sweet boy is just looking for a peaceful place to retire. Grant isn't asking for a monument; he’s just looking for a soft spot to land and a family to call his own.

Story
🎄🧝‍♂️ Greetings from the North Pole… and meet ELF! 🧝‍♂️🎄 Hi ho ho! I’m Elf, a very special Basset–Lab mix boy sent straight from Santa’s workshop to spread cheer and love all year long. I may be short in stature, but don’t let these adorable little legs fool you, my heart is extra large and overflowing with sweetness. I’m as friendly as an elf can be! I get along wonderfully with other dogs, love making new friends, and I’m always ready to share smiles, snuggles, and tail wags. My superpower? Making humans laugh just by walking across the room (these legs are festive magic). I promise to be your most loyal helper, whether that’s warming your feet, following you around the house, or reminding you that joy comes in small, wiggly packages. 🎁 If your home is missing a little Christmas magic, I’m ready to report for duty. Adopt Elf and let the merriment begin! ✨🐾 P.S. No toy assembly required — just love. 💚
