He is a rescue dog whose previous owner passed away beside him. Despite everything he has been through, he has been such a wonderful and loving dog. He is very friendly with kids and gets along great with other pets! He is a little scared of loud noises and severe weather, but he is otherwise a happy, sweet, and well-behaved dog. I’ve had him for two years, and he has been such a great companion. Unfortunately, I’ve been very busy lately, and I hate leaving him alone in my apartment all day. He deserves to live his adult life with someone who has more time for him—to enjoy the outdoors, have fun, and truly live his best life while embracing his Beagle nature.

Madeline is a senior girl that came to us from the local Humane Society and we pulled her because we thought she was a great fit for BR and we knew we could help her. Madeline has a laundry list of medical concerns including Heartworm (which we will begin treating asap), a couple of lumps and bumps, some level of heart disease that we will be diving more in to, and Hypothyroidism along with arthritis. We need to get a little more familiar with her and her medical concerns before we consider opening her up for adoption.September 30, 2026, 6:30 pm

Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well.
