Story
SUCH A SWEET FACE! Birdie is a possible Beagle/Heeler mix that is friendly, affectionate, treat motivated, she has only been around dogs her size so we do not know about small dogs or cats. She is crate trained but we do not know about house training. But we are working with more skills to include housetraining. A fenced yard for her to run, play and train would be great. Birdie recently completed her training at Bobbi Colorado's Canine Camp for a whole month. Please watch the video of her and her trainer. We all know this kind of training is not cheap. We hope to find a family who understands and appreciates skills development and will continue on with her training, after adoption. Children over 5. Austin, TX area adoptions preferred. Fenced yard. Birdie’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes her Vet exam, current vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm/tick test, preventative, spay and microchip.

Story
Reveille was a rescue dog. She knows basic commands (sit, kennel, leave it). She is very eager to please. She is skittish at first due to her past. When people first come in to the house she barks and is noticeably anxious but calms down and is comfortable with visitors after everyone has settled in. She does well with other dogs, but it does take her a while to warm up to them. She does not do well on a leash due to high anxiety when seeing other people/animals, so adopter will need to have a decent backyard. She is an older gal (estimated at 10 years) but is still spry. She has been around 2 young kids for the last 6 years. She does get nervous when around a lot of kids, but has been taught to walk away.

Buck has been raised by the same family for his entire life. Due to illness, we can no longer take care of him. He is house trained, and well behaved. He gets along with other dogs, and has been exposed to cats, but no prolonged exposure. He is a hunting breed, and loves to be outside. He has always lived with his brother (red beagle).

Meet Curly—though her foster mom calls her Shirley, and it might just be the perfect name. She’s got the softest eyes, the sweetest little trot, and a heart full of love. At around 10 years old, Curly (Shirley) is everything you’d want in a gentle companion—great with other dogs, totally fine with cats, and a dream to walk on leash. She loves belly rubs, cozy naps, and being near her people. And really… Shirley just feels right for her. It’s the cutest old lady name for this kind, affectionate girl who’s ready to settle into her forever home.
