🐾 Meet Buster! 🐾 Looking for a young dog who’s cat-friendly, crate-trained, and happy to nap while you work? Buster may be your perfect match. His foster describes him as an easy-going young dog who has settled beautifully into home life. During the day, he’s happy to nap while his foster works, and at night he goes right into his crate and sleeps quietly without a peep. And yes, his beagle side definitely shows when food is involved. He’s not pushy about it—just endlessly optimistic that every snack might somehow be for him. A few things to love about Buster: About 1 year old Friendly with other dogs Relaxed and respectful around cats Happy to lounge while you work from home Crate-trained and sleeps quietly through the night Takes redirection well and wants to please If you’re looking for a friendly, laid-back companion with all the charm of a young beagle, Buster might be your perfect match.

Story
**Meet Tina!** 💛 If you're looking for a laid-back companion who has perfected the art of relaxing, Tina is your girl. This sweet, independent, and delightfully goofy Basset Hound mix is happiest when she's soaking up the sunshine, enjoying a leisurely walk, or snoozing beside you on the couch. And when she's in the mood for cuddles, she'll happily curl up next to you for some quality snuggle time. Tina has plenty of personality! She's an excellent neighborhood watch captain who will let you know when a package arrives, and squirrels are her greatest rivals. She's also incredibly food motivated, making her eager to learn and easy to win over with a tasty treat. She enjoys tug toys, Kongs, lick mats, and leisurely adventures with her favorite people. Around new friends, Tina is affectionate and welcoming—she loves saying hello with a few kisses before settling in for some well-earned relaxation. She enjoys other dogs who respect her space, but she'd be happiest as the only pet or with another calm, easygoing canine companion who matches her mellow lifestyle. House-trained and comfortable relaxing at home while you're away, Tina is ready to enjoy her golden years with a family who appreciates life's simple pleasures. A quiet home where she can spend her days sunbathing, taking walks, and sharing the couch with someone special would be her dream come true. If you're searching for a loyal best friend with a gentle heart and the perfect balance of independence and affection, Tina can't wait to meet you.

Story
Available in TX only! King is a one year old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid back nature. He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food. King would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give him time to build confidence and continue showing him the world is a safe place. With love and consistency, he will be a loyal and loving companion. To apply directly for King, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-751
