Story
We think Byron is 11 years old. He belonged to a former Hound Rescue Board member who recently had to go into assisted living. He gets along very well with other dogs, loves people and is super playful for an 11 year old pup. He has the BEST bay and will do well in a home (not an apartment). He was recently diagnosed with Cushings disease which can be managed with medication.

Story
Hope Daisy's puppies are about 50% Beagle and 50% Border Collie! This designer dog is referred to as a Border Beagle. Here is what Google says...... Rambunctious, energetic, and lively, the Border Beagle is a hybrid breed that originated in the United States but the exact date is not clear. The breed was conceived from the mix of the Border Collie and the Beagle. The Border Beagle comes in typical Beagle colors - tricolor, black and white, brown and white, red, red-brown, and golden. Its coat can vary depending on which parent breed is dominant; it can be short and rough or long and silky. This active dog is may become a frequent barker if it is not trained properly. Its purpose is to provide companionship and be of use with its nose. This playful canine enjoys being able to exercise daily and makes for a great companion. At 4 months of age, Mahomes is currently 23lbs. Playful and Energetic , he's doing great with house training. Read more at: https://wagwalking.com/breed/border They will be ready for new homes at the end of March when they are 8 weeks old.

Story
Brownie was found in a field near Giddens she had been covered in Poo and is HW positive. She is now all cleaned up and on HW medicine. She has a healthy appetite and no issues taking her meds. Brownie is house and crate trained. She originally did not show much interest in toys but now she plays with them on her own and loves chewing on her bend bone. She is starting to understand fetch but there are times when she chooses to do her own thing. She has come a long way with her foster; she now knows commands: sit, wait, come and understands the word no.She loves car rides and does great on a leash although she needs some work with pulling. She comes in to cuddle and for scratches but hesitates a little still this possibly will improve with time. Brownie has people anxiety still so she is still learning to trust people. Her foster tried to take her to petco but she was overwhelmed; meeting new people is challenging for her. She has some separation anxiety, which may improve with time. She likes meeting and playing with doggie friends and prefers to be with other dogs than left alone by herself. She is more playful when other dogs are present like playing chase and running around them. If left alone outside she tries to dig around the fence, so best kept inside if alone. Outside she has become quite vocal and tries to get the neighborhood dogs riled up. She would be best in a home with another dog to play with and keep her company.

Story
Meet Shmiegel! This sweet 12 year old is house trained and an owner surrender. She is afraid of cats. She loves walks and does great on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs. Her foster says she is the cutest, coolest dog. She tucks herself in for bedtime and is calm around other people. At her foster's home, she has been getting zoomies, which is a great sign that she's happy and healthy. She loves plush toys and just had her teeth cleaned and the vet said she has beautiful teeth. She a bit of a picky eater (many beagles are) , but she tells you when she's hungry and doesn't care about fireworks or thunder.

Story
Chris Stapleton is a sweet tri-colored beagle.who recently had a dental cleaning as well as neuter surgery. He is house trained and loves head scratches. He enjoys doggy buddies. He is not food aggressive and can be hand fed. He has a cute smile and cute underbite. While medicines from the surgery were still in effect, he refrained from much human interaction, but now he's active and very curious, not shy, and also very sweet. His first night after his surgery he spent on a dog bed near his foster's bed as he was not a fan of a kennel and took some time to relax. It is possible the cone that he needs to wear until his surgery site heals made the kennel too cozy for him. He is wanting to run and play really bad ,but until he heals from the surgery he is being kept on a leash.
