They were about to euthanize me, but now I’m living the dream with my awesome foster family. I’m a little underweight at the moment, but I’m going to fill out and be the cutest, small standard-sized lady you’ve ever seen. I’m super active for my age (who says you can't be spry at 12?) and love to keep moving. But hey, I’m also a fan of lounging in the big bed after a busy day, or chilling in my kennel – both work for me. Now, I’m a quick learner – it took me just 15 minutes to figure out the doggie door! I’ve had a couple of accidents, but that’s no big deal. I’m getting the hang of this whole housebreaking thing. I’m very treat and food driven, which is a great thing for training! They look kinda mean… I’ll need some time to get used to them. I was named Beautiful at the shelter, but my foster parents decided to call me Lucy, and guess what? We found Cha Cha from a few neighbors down from us, she’d been abandoned/stray and from what we’re aware of she’s been an outside dog for a few months now , I believe she’s hitting a year old soon. She’s very playful, friendly, and welcomes open arms to anyone. She’s not quite trained yet, she has her hyper moments however she is between puppy and young. The person who found them took them home for a day before bringing them to the shelter. MARIGOLD was terrified by the shelter intake process and was placed in isolation kennels due to alligator rolling and needing to DECOMPRESS. She is staying as far away from staff as she can and is ACTIVELY TREMBLING. The staff want her out so she can recover. She is, no doubt, under extreme mental distress at the shelter. PLEASE HELP HER The finder was able to pick her up and put her in the car. She is NOT rescue only so she can be responsibly ADOPTED or she can be FOSTERED for a rescue if you can offer her stability and commitment until she gets her Furever home.
