Darwin was part of a litter that was abandoned by their owners before being rescued. My family and I adopted him when he was 6 weeks old. He was a quiet and timid dog as a puppy; it took a week for him to warm to us enough to leave his crate. Darwin is a loving and friendly boy.

Each day, she’s building confidence and learning to trust a little more. Eliza would love to meet your dog to see if they are a good match! She lived with multiple dogs previously. Eliza is looking for a patient, understanding home that will celebrate her small victories and give her the time she needs to blossom. Dolly was rescued from a hoarding situation in Seguine.  She was at term with her pregnancy and was scheduled to be euthanized by Animal Control.   She had her puppies 2 weeks after we got her.  She was very fearful and would not be touched.  over the past three months, she has come a very LONG way towards building a relationship with people.  She is wary of strangers and goes into fight or flight mode.  She is much clmer when she is on a leash with a person she trusts.  She is learning to walk on a leach and to be more comfortable in common areas like on the deck or in the yard.  She was in a house with 40 dogs so she's great with other dogs!   SHe will take time, patience and love, but you can see in her eyes, she is ready to have a real family.  To aplly for Dolly:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2223925##

Meet Bella! Bella’s foster says she is “genuinely perfect”. And we can understand why! Bella is 1 year and 37 lbs of hound perfection. She is friendly with people and other dogs, affectionate, easy going, quiet, well-mannered, and sweet as honey. She previously lived in a home, so she is already house trained and very polite. Bella was adopted from the shelter as a puppy but returned due to climbing a 4-foot fence to harass her neighbor’s chickens. Her family was very sad to lose her because she is such a good girl. Bella does have a strong prey instinct and will whine and pull on the leash if she sees a squirrel, bunny, or armadillo! The hound genes are strong. Bella has the look of a bigger hound but in a much smaller and easier to handle package. When you meet Bella, you can instantly feel her easy going, deeply affectionate, and courteous vibe. Beamer is already halfway through his Paws in Prison training, and this little guy is proving to be one smart cookie. Speaking of cookies… Beamer is fluent in one very important language: He speaks TREAT. Bring out the snacks and suddenly this boy is ready to learn anything you’d like to teach him!
