Cinnamon is a 7-year-old, un-neutered Beagle mix. Cinnamon is not so big on walks but loves to be pet on his belly. He has a best bud, Happy. Both dogs have been together for 7 years. They primarily lived outside and are not formally house broken. They both display marking behavior. They are both incredibly sweet to me and very cute. This pair would probably do best in a household without young children. Currently both dogs are kept in kennels while inside the house. With summer approaching we will not be able to allow the dogs extended stays outside like we have done during these cooler days, and they will have to be in their kennels for longer periods of time. This pair should be roaming their own backyard. I want them to be happy and free to wander around. They are a pair and attached to each other. Happy and Cinnamon should not be separated as these two dogs have been together for so long. Please help rehome this lovable duo.

Dolly was rescued from a hoarding situation in Seguine. She was at term with her pregnancy and was scheduled to be euthanized by Animal Control. She had her puppies 2 weeks after we got her. She was very fearful and would not be touched. over the past three months, she has come a very LONG way towards building a relationship with people. She is wary of strangers and goes into fight or flight mode. She is much clmer when she is on a leash with a person she trusts. She is learning to walk on a leach and to be more comfortable in common areas like on the deck or in the yard. She was in a house with 40 dogs so she's great with other dogs! Available in TX only! King is a one year old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid back nature. He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food, as treats like milk bones do not agree with him.
