Story
Do you believe in beagles?....those funny, friendly, big mouthed, party all day players in a little package? Well, here is the ultimate beagle! Meet Colton! Colton is a young adult beagle who came from a hoarder who loved beagles just a little too much! (Yes, I guess it really possible to love these little angels just a little too much!) He weighs about about 20 pounds and with that poundage spreads both chaos and light. He is the friendliest boy you will likely ever meet. He loves everyone at adoption events and would wilingly go home with anyone who tried to abduct him. He loves to run around your yard, look out the windows, climb on the couch, roll around in blankets, lick your face and sleep in your bed. Colten is good on leash, very energetic and somewhat stressed when left alone. He'd rather live with a comedian in a van down by the river than with a billionaire who would crate him when he went to work. Colton loves other dogs and children and is just fine with cats. He's cool with a turkey but a pig just blew his mind and scared the heck out of him! Colter knows what makes him happy (a fenced yard, a doggie playmate and no crates!) and that's just what we are going to find for him! If you are ready to embrace the joy of a beagle along with the quirks of training a beagle...we got your beagle! $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org

Story
Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl had been adopted then returned as the owners could not keep up with a puppy. Bitsy is energetic, a bit shy at first and a good girl. She is housetrained, does well in a crate, good on a leash and in a car. She will need a few days to feel comfortable as she is confused as to why she is not home. She has done well with kids but will need adjustment with them also. She is curious about new places so can be a flight risk (would recommend an escape proof collar). She is ready for her forever home.

Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application.

Story
Meet the cutest little guy around! He is a compact ball of love and we call him our "Walmart Greeter". Carson's person died a couple of years ago and he is needing a new home. Carson is a happy little guy who loves everyone and gets along great with other dogs. Carson is playful, housebroken, snuggly, likes to play with toys and would love a family to call his own again. This little guy is part Shih Tzu part.... Bassett?? A short, stocky little man for sure. Don't let those little legs fool you though, he likes to run and play with the big dogs. Carson is housebroken, so the hard work is done for you! He is an adult with a lot of life left! Let him snuggle up to you and you can heal his little heart. If you'd like to adopt Carson, please fill out our online application at www.goofyfootrescue.org Carson is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once his adoption is finalized.
