Story
Benny was found as a stray on the side of the road. He was having trouble walking and seemed injured. We got him into a vet as soon as we could and turns out he had a broken femur. Benny is a 6-month-old beagle and very sweet. He is currently on cage rest to help feel his leg. Our vet said the break looked to be 2-3 weeks old already. Poor fella had to be hurting wandering around all alone for that long. Benny is a true beagle and will howl and bark to get your attention. He is a little skinny from wandering around but will fatten up with time. He is not going to be very large. 20lbs max. Benny is not neutered yet due to his injury but is up to date on vaccines. He would love to find a foster home soon or an adoptive home to take over his medical needs till he heals. If interested in adopting a pet from our shelter, please click on one of the following links which will take you to our adoption application.
