Meet Jack, the wiggly-tailed wonder ready to bring sunshine into your life! He's a bundle of energy and loves meeting new people and animals. Jack dreams of a family who enjoys outdoor fun like dog park adventures and hikes. Having a yard to roam would be like a dream come true for him!
While he's still learning the ropes at home, Jack's a sweetheart deep down. His toy collection is his treasure, and he's becoming a leash-walking pro! He's a bit uncertain about crates, but that doesn't stop him from trying his best. He's super curious about other pets, especially his foster fur-brother and is eager to bond with new friends. Jack would thrive in a home with another dog to be his playmate and partner in fun!
Although Jack hasn't met many kids yet, he's super friendly and full of potential. He's a quick learner and yearns for a loving family to guide him. Jack's ready to find his forever home-a place where he'll be cherished and where his playful spirit can shine bright! Apply today to meet him.

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
We also update our Facebook page daily with new cats and dogs.
