Story
Are you a lady who lives alone or maybe it is just you and your dog who would love to have a sister dog?  Our girl Sister Sybil,  loves to play and buddy up with other dogs.  She also would make a great guard dog for a lady who may live alone.  Sybil is not a barker unless an unfamiliar person shows up at your door and she is ready to warn you.  She hides from children, not aggressive to them at all, just unsure of children, so she avoids and hides from them.  She is a sweet baby girl who loves to cuddle, give kisses, run after a ball and just be close to her person.  She is house trained but will need a fenced yard when let out to potty.   She doesn’t have recall to just come back in. Our sweet Sister Sybil might be shy at first but she is submissive being a beagle/bulldog breed with brindle leg stockings that are beautiful. She is one and a half year old weighing around 35 pounds. When she knows that you love her and she understands that you just want to be kind to her she will be all about you. She has a unique little underbite that gives her a special smile and She has gold splashes on her feet, legs and undercoat as though she was splashed with God’s special paint brush. Sister Sybil is a diamond with a wonderful soul and if you feel you have a home for her,  please do not hesitate to inquire with us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 4, 2023, 11:24 am

Story
Ricky Ricardo’s story is a sad one. You see this sweet 4yr old beagle mix was in a shelter he was adopted, but his person failed him. We are not sure exactly what happened after he left the shelter other than he was found 200 miles away from the adopter's home in a starved and skin and bones condition.  The “owner” claimed he ran away 2 weeks previously, but a dog does not end up with such weight loss in that short 2 weeks amount of time. The owner gave up Ricky to the rescue so we could work diligently in finding the perfect, most loving forever home for him. Things about Ricky:At his first vet appt he weighed only 22.5lbs! He has since gained weight in our custody and is now 28lbs.  Ricky is a spunky beagle mix and will require a 6ft fence as he can jump over anything shorter. *No underground fences* He Can Not go loose as he will get to tracking a scent and won’t come back! He loves car rides and is great with other dogs. He is NOT good with cats or small animals. He would be good in a home with children over 10yrs old. Ricky is crate trained, neutered and up to date with all vetting. He will bark to let you know he has to go out to potty and bark to let you know when he’s ready to come in. He’s a great little guy who is abundant with his snuggles and kisses.  If you would like to be Ricky's forever human companion,  please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 4, 2023, 11:24 am

Story
Clooney is an 8 year old Beagle, Hound mix looking for a new home.  He is used to being the only dog in the house and has not been properly socialized, therefore does not do well sharing with other dogs.  Clooney needs training with positive reinforcement.  He likes his people and makes a great companion.  He is a Hound that follows his nose so he will need leash walks or a fenced area to roam in.  If you can help with fostering this handsome guy until we can find him a great new home, please let us know.  ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 4, 2023, 11:24 am

Story
This gorgeous little girl is called Blue Vega.  Her mother’s pictures showed her to be a combination of many different breeds and was blue/ silver in color and the sweetest temperament ever.  Vega is probably a combination of her mother and the unknown father that influenced how she turned out at birth.  Little Vega was born June 17th and is living with 6 wonderful children from the ages of 6 to 17 years.   She has learned how to be held and loved on and to be as social as you would want a puppy to be.  Foster mom Tycie says she is extremely playful and loves to run and be the center of attention. When she is tired then she is ready to settle down and cuddle.  At 10 weeks of age she is 19 pounds and on her way to be a 65 pound girl. We would like Vega to have a fenced yard and lots of good training as she grows up.  We are looking for an active couple, a family or a single person who will make her an important part of their life and a dedication to training her to know all the proper dog manners.  She is not old enough to be housebroken.  That is something an adopter will need to accomplish as they raise her.   She is ready to go soon!!!  Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 4, 2023, 11:24 am

Story
Jewel was saved by a good samaritan before she was attacked by 2 big dogs. She had been dumped at a rural area that is common for this happening. A couple of Chihuahua had been seen in the area too and were never caught. Jewel was very pregnant when found. We got called to see if we could help her as she was ready to deliver any day. The last picture is of her with her babies who have all found their homes. We think Jewel is probably a Beagle/Chihuahua mix because of the Chihuahua's that were also spotted. She is about 2 years old and 20lbs. She is fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped and heartworm negative. We believe she would do best with another dog as she is very timid and responds better with another dog around. We also think a fenced in yard would be good for her. We are planning a transport up north October 14th if you would like this baby brought to you. All of us in the rescue have full time jobs as well as running the rescue so if you are interested in Jewel please go to our website www.doginghampalacerescue.org for our application. Then email the application back to doginghamrescue@aol.com. The fees on our website are very out dated, we are waiting on the lady to update everything. Since covid hit, it is hard to get into vets offices and prices have gone way up. The adoption fee and transport fee is explained below. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $400 adoption fee does not include the transport fee. The transport fee is $225, so a total of $625. The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.

Story
Piper came from a high kill rural shelter where she was going to be put down because she was owner surrender. We went past her run and she just put her head up to the kennel door. When we petted her she just leaned in more and melted our hearts. We asked what her story was and how did she end up there? Her owners had been renting a house for many years when all of a sudden the landlord said if they did not get rid of their dogs they were out. It is always so much hard for the owner surrenders at shelters because they don't understand why they were left. Piper is a real sweet heart and would be great for anyone young or old. She is about 6 years old and 20lbs. We believe she is a Beagle/Jack Russell mix. Piper loves her people but tries to be the boss with other dogs. We think she would do so much better being an only dog or having a submissive dog. She is fixed, current on all shots, micro chipped and heartworm/tick negative. We are based in Nashville TN but can get her transported to you. The $500 does cover the transport. Her adoption fee is $300 and $200 transport fee, the transport fee is non refundable. If you would like an application on Piper please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com for one.
