Chip is a 2 year old Rottweiler, who was raised in a loving home, and was well cared for. Through no fault of his own he is now looking for a new home. Please no one will be answered without an application. And then only if we consider you a match. Chip will not be going home with other animals. Chip is an all around Good boy! Here are some of fabulous facts about Chip:   - Wonderful temperament  - Super friendly to everyone & good with kids! - Well trained and well mannered  - Great on leash (perfect walking buddy!) - Housebroken - Playful & engaging (Would love a fenced yard) - Good in car (can take him anywhere!)   Chip is non reactive to other dogs but we are looking for a home where he will be the only dog. He has never been around cats.    Chip is up to date on vaccines and will be neutered upon adoption.  If you’d like to meet Chip, please fill out an application on our website at Rescueridge.com. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This handsome guy is Dante. He is a young husky/shepherd mix (born June 2024), and weighs about 50 pounds. Dante is very smart, playful and full of personality - but we are not going to sugar coat it- he’s a handful! He is friendly, has had obedience training, loves to work for treats and knows plenty of commands- but will pick and choose who he will listen to and when he will listen.  A dog like Dante is frustrated in a kennel environment. We cannot meet his mental or physical needs. He needs a home- someone with the skill, time and patience to work with him. We are looking for a special adopter- the one who can see his potential and wants to help a dog in need.  A potential adopter for Dante must be an experienced dog handler, who can establish and maintain leadership from the start. He will challenge his handler- so this is an absolute must! A fully fenced in yard is required. We believe he would do best in a home with one or two adults. He has the potential to live with another dog. (But of course a meet is a must).   Dante has bonded with some of our volunteers, and can be very affectionate. We believe he has the potential to be a great companion- but only in the right hands. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.SWEET, GENTLE AND AFFECTIONATE- sums up Lina perfectly! Lina is a Rottweiler mix, estimated to be between 1-2 years old. She’s on the petite side, weighing about 50 pounds (but needs to gain a little more weight). Lina can best be described as perfectly imperfect! This girl is amazing. She has a perfect temperament. Friendly, loving, just an absolute doll! What’s imperfect is her right foot, which turns out a bit. It doesn’t seem to bother her. She walks and plays just like any other dog.  Lina is truly a joy to be around and we hope a potential adopter can see past her imperfection and give her the loving home she truly deserves.
