You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This handsome guy is Dante. He is a young husky/shepherd mix (born June 2024), and weighs about 50 pounds. Dante is very smart, playful and full of personality - but we are not going to sugar coat it- he’s a handful! He is friendly, has had obedience training, loves to work for treats and knows plenty of commands- but will pick and choose who he will listen to and when he will listen. A dog like Dante is frustrated in a kennel environment. We cannot meet his mental or physical needs. He needs a home- someone with the skill, time and patience to work with him. We are looking for a special adopter- the one who can see his potential and wants to help a dog in need. A potential adopter for Dante must be an experienced dog handler, who can establish and maintain leadership from the start. He will challenge his handler- so this is an absolute must! A fully fenced in yard is required. We believe he would do best in a home with one or two adults. He has the potential to live with another dog. (But of course a meet is a must). Dante has bonded with some of our volunteers, and can be very affectionate. We believe he has the potential to be a great companion- but only in the right hands. King is a very energetic dog. Although he is 9 years old, he is very playful and loving. He loves his family and is very protective. He is a great watch dog and always alert. When he is chained , he can be defensively aggressive toward strangers. He's very loyal and affectionate to our family. I purchased the dog for my grandson 9 years ago. He took care of the dog for 4years and enlisted in the marines. I have been taking care of him for the last 5 years. Due to my current circumstances I cannot devote the time in caring for him the way he deserves. I'm very sad to depart with him, he's a member of our family.

She and her sister were found by animal control and faced euthanasia simply due to overcrowding, but thanks to kind-hearted helpers, Gloria got her second chance — and she’s made the most of it ever since. Despite her rocky start, Gloria is all sunshine and love. She’s a happy, active girl with long, lanky legs and classic puppy enthusiasm. Gloria absolutely adores people and can’t wait to make friends with everyone she meets — humans and dogs alike! Her favorite thing in the world is playtime with her canine pals, followed closely by soaking up all the affection she can get. Gloria is potty trained, walks well on leash, and sleeps in her crate every night. She’s still working on her kennel skills and basic commands, and with her excitement she may jump when she’s happy — but she’s eager to learn and would thrive with continued training to help channel her energy. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup who wants nothing more than to love, be loved, and enjoy life by your side, Gloria could be your perfect match. Gloria is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. Her adoption fee is $550. Meet Lillie! She was adopted from the shelter when she was much smaller, but then was brought back and 5 months later because she had gotten to big. She is 9 months and is about 45 lbs. She was set to be euthanized and was just to sweet and deserves better. She is typical german shepherd mix size. She is so sweet and very well behaved on the leash. She is great in the car and knows how to sit on command. She is great with other dogs and kids, she has not been tested with cats yet, but can be if you are interested in her. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and dewormed. She is hoping you put in an application soon!
