Meet Dexter! Dexter is a sweet, laid-back pup who absolutely loves being indoors. He is a cuddle bug and the ultimate lounging buddy he could spend all day on the couch without a care in the world. He is very clean and well-behaved indoors, doesn’t need a crate, and can stay home for 8 to 12 hours without any accidents or damage. Dexter enjoys going to doggy daycare and loves playing with other dogs. He is very friendly and social, and he especially loves chicken! We recently had a baby, and between that and his heavy shedding, its become difficult for us to give him the time and care he deserves. This has been a very hard decision, but we want him to go to a loving home that can keep up with his needs and give him all the love he gives in return. Dexter is truly a wonderful dog and would make a great addition to a family who has time to give him the attention he thrives on.

She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. Aproditie is absolutely adorable, with 11 years of wisdom packed into her petite 31-pound frame. This sweet senior lady would be a perfect fit for a house or apartment. She’s affectionate, gentle, and enjoys being close to her people. Aproditie walks nicely on a leash and appears to be house-trained, making her an easy and loving companion ready to settle right into her forever home.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Mia will turn a year old in July. We got introduced to Mia at the Chisolm Trail Festival in Oklahoma. We fell in love with her. However, we could not keep her because of an apartment issue, so we are just trying to find her a good home with lots of love. I would describe her as intelligent, goofy, clumsy, and very affectionate.
