Story
Puppy like 3 yrs old Purebred Mahogany & Black AKC Rottweiler.Amora is a loving, playful, goofball; who likes socializing, especially at daycare & the vet. * She occasionally has allergies, that leads to ear infections. Benadryl has helped. Her big dog leg issues have been lessened by cold laser therapy.* Amora rarely barks, loves to cuddle, playing fetch the ball, going on short walks, plus she is good with established & positively enforced boundaries* The fee is to assure you are serious & financially stable. Her beds, toys, other belongings, & remaining food will accompany her.* I am rehoming Amora because my health has taken a turn. I want to avoid her being surrendered to a shelter if I die. I am not able to walk & play with her as often as she'd like. * Amora needs to live indoors with her human(s). She has a lifevest for emergencies (I've never seen her swim).* Once you submit an application, I will reach out to you so we can discuss a meeting. Please respond back within 3 days

Story
Koda is a 6 year old Rottweiler female in Coupland/Williamson County. We took her in for a family friend to avoid her being sent to a shelter. She does okay with male dogs, but does NOT do well with female dogs or cats. She has no training, and only responds to the word no or stop. Has only ever been an outside dog. Due to her not getting along with female dogs we are unable to keep her. She is too dominant for our female that we already had and they keep getting in bad fights. We gave it a couple months for an adjustment period but it’s just not working. Would do best as an only dog with plenty of space to move around. Will go after cats. She is spayed, up to date on shots, very sweet with people, loves kids and water, does jump occasionally when excited. Just wants to lay on your feet and get pets.

Story
Macaroni is a soft-hearted, thoughtful boy with so much love to give. While he is shy, he will thrive in a patient home that allows him to warm up at his own pace. Watching him blossom and trust you is the most rewarding feeling in the world! Macaroni does wonderfully in a home with both dogs and cats; a calm canine friend will help him become more confident. He is potty trained and crate trained and settles nicely when you’re away. His favorite places are in bedroom closets, a crate with blankets, or corners where he can feel safe and watch the world from a distance. He is your loyal shadow on walks, sticking close by your side at a relaxed pace. Macaroni's ideal home: A peaceful neighborhood and predictable routine will help him feel most secure. When this sweet boy warms up, he will become a deeply devoted companion for life.

Hi, I'm new to Austin and am looking forward to meeting a foster or adopter to help show me around! My friends at APA might not know a ton about me just yet, but you could help them get valuable notes by offering to take me on a sleepover for a few days. Please stop by the shelter to meet me today!

Story
I'm potty-trained and great at resting and sleeping through the night in my crate. I'm super sweet and friendly with other dogs and people, but don't know about cats as my foster doesn't have any. I'm a real ham and love nothing more than playing with toys, giving kisses and getting my belly scratched. I know how to "sit" and learn very quickly and I also love to snuggle.

Canela has such a wonderful personality and is such a sweet girl. She’s playful and loves fetch with her stuffies (she’s pretty good at dropping them for you to toss too!). She also loves playing in the little puppy pools, and splashing around in them. She’s also very house trained! Once she works out her zoomies, she’s super easy on a leash. She’s a super cuddly young pup, and loves to lean against her human for pets and scratches. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 71 Age: 4yrs 9mths 1wks

Story
Ellie is an amazing dog and I am so sad to rehome her. We are moving (and unfortunately and heart breaking) we can't take her with us. I got Ellie from a rescue group when she was a puppy. She had been severely beaten (scars on her head and legs) and was deprived of food. Once she was healthy enough to adopt, she joined our family. She is absolutely wonderful with kids and gets along great with other dogs. She is not aggressive at all. In fact, she normally ends up cowering down to other dogs when approached. She is good on a leash, knows how to sit and stay. Understands verbal and hand commands as long as you continuously use them with her. She is very loving and enjoys hugs and affection. Ellie is 7 years old. She still has some energy in her, but mainly loves to sleep on her beds during the day (beds can be provided). I hope to find her a caring home where she can enjoy outside time and lots of love.

Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Meet Breaker – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! Breaker is a handsome Great Dane mix a little over a year old who is ready to find an active, committed family to call his own. At around 65 pounds, he’s a wonderful blend of big-dog presence and goofy puppy charm. Breaker is currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, but he can be transported to the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast United States for the right home. Breaker thrives on activity and he still has that classic puppy energy, so he’s looking for a family that understands the importance of positive correction, consistency, and continued training to help him grow into the best version of himself. With the right guidance, Breaker is eager to learn and please. One of Breaker’s favorite things in the world is going on adventures. He absolutely loves riding in the car and would be thrilled to tag along for hikes, outings, road trips, or any fun day spent exploring with his people. Water is another big favorite—splashing, wading, and cooling off are right up his alley. When playtime rolls around, Breaker is all in. He loves toys of all kinds and enjoys playing with dogs his own size. Most of all, Breaker wants to be with his people. He would happily spend the entire day with his family, whether that means being on the go or just hanging out together. If you’re an active household looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion to share life’s adventures, Breaker may be the perfect match for you.
