Story
Vance is an absolutely striking Beauceron/Shepherd mix with a happy easy-going personality. He’s 10 months old and still growing. He’s a big boy at 57 pounds. He arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/6 as a stray. Vance is curious and investigates his surroundings thoroughly. His tail is in constant wagging. He is highly motivated by treats, and when offered one he first jumps up before he sits. He does not jump on you. He’s friendly, well mannered, and affectionate. He may be housetrained. He walks OK on a leash. He hasn`t show any interest in other dogs, yet please ask the shelter for a dog test if you have another pup in the home. This gentle giant will need a secured yard to investigate and to live indoors where he can be close to his human companions.

These pups are in Keller, Texas too!

Story
Willow is the sweetest cuddle bug. We first adopted her from the shelter almost four years ago and brought her into a home with 2 older kids and 2 other senior male dogs. She loves to snuggle and give lots of kisses. She has high anxiety, is afraid of water (from a hose) and being crated. She’s never bitten a soul but is very mouthy. She doesn’t pull on a leash when you walk her but she zig zags in different directions. UTD on all vaccines and care and is in perfect health. Shes a sweet soul, but we are moving and I am unable to train her anxious behavior.

Story
Riker! Introducing Riker, a gentle and calm male dog who may start off a bit timid but has so much love to give once he warms up to you. This sweet boy enjoys the comfort of being held and loves to curl up on your lap, making him the perfect cuddle buddy for quiet evenings at home. Riker is quite intelligent and, as he becomes more comfortable, he reveals his playful side, showing a delightful enthusiasm for games and interactions. He gets along well with other dogs, making playdates a joy for him and his furry friends. Breed: Possible Belgian Malinios / Shepherd (no DNA testing has been done). Riker is a wonderful, smart puppy, and we believe he may be a mix of German Shepherd and/or Belgian Malinois. This means he is projected to be a large, high-energy, and highly intelligent dog who will need a job to do! What Riker Needs in a Home: * An Experienced Adopter: We are looking for an owner with experience handling working breeds or high-drive dogs. * Time and Energy: A family committed to daily physical exercise and mental enrichment (puzzles, training sessions). * Professional Training: Riker will benefit immensely from early and consistent enrollment in positive reinforcement training classes. * A ready supply of chew toys and a designated Captain willing to train him (he’s smart and food-motivated!). Adoption through Pawfleet: -Cost $300 -Riker will be up-to-date on vaccines and prevention -Vouchers will be given for remaining vaccines and Spay at Fort Worth TCAP If you’re looking for a loyal companion who thrives on affection and has a heart of gold, Riker is the perfect match! Discover how he can bring warmth and joy to your life!

Story
Meet Doc! Doc is the little “thinker” of the 7 Dwarves litter — always looking like he’s studying his surroundings before deciding it’s time for fun. He enjoys exploring, playing with toys, and trotting along like he’s supervising the day’s activities. He and his littermates were rescued from a rural property where they were found starving with their mom after the owner went to jail, and Doc is now soaking up the puppy life he deserved from the start. His mom is a German Shepherd and dad is unknown, and Doc is fostered with his brother, forming a perfect pair: the “professor” and the “nap specialist.” Doc stays close to his people, enjoys snuggles, and likes to be in the middle of whatever is happening, as if he’s keeping track of everything. He brings a fun, attentive energy that feels very fitting for a pup named Doc. Like all young puppies, Doc will need continued training, consistency, patience, and socialization as he grows. With direction and structure, he’ll channel all that curious, “in-charge” energy into becoming a wonderful companion. Doc was born in October 2025 and is fostered in Texas. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57167/generic Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care. ##2604436##
