Story

Kona is a sweet, smart, healthy, and athletic girl. I adopted her in 2016 and at the time, the vet said was 2-3 years old. I was single then and had lots of time time to spend with her. I’m now married with two small children, a full time job (active duty military) and a husband who deploys regularly. I can no longer give Kona the get the exercise or attention she deserves and she is home alone all day which causes her anxiety. It pains me to have to look for a better home for her, but the circumstances of my life aren’t fair to her. I’m hoping to find someone who can love her and give her the attention she deserves.

She loves cuddles, treats, she is a little spoiled and is one of the rescue's favorites. She is thin, but in her medical studies she has always been excellent. She is simply thin. She needs exercise to expend her energy, and a giant bed to rest, (She loves to sleep with you) She gets excited when she looks at you and shows you a big smile.
