Story
A5737756 Aria is a 1-year-old spayed female Belgian Malinois with all the spark, intelligence, and intensity that her breed is known for. As a young Malinois, she is very energetic, always thinking, always moving, and always ready for her next adventure. This breed isn’t for everyone — she will need an experienced, committed handler or a family who understands working dogs and can give her the structure, training, and daily activity she thrives on. With the right guidance, Aria will shine: Malinois puppies are incredibly smart, excellent listeners, and eager to learn. She has the potential to be an amazing family protector, sport dog, or active companion. She’s a lot of dog — but for the right person, she’ll be everything. &#226&#156&#168     -1-year-old spayed Belgian Malinois -High-energy, athletic, and extremely smart -Needs basic training, but learns fast -Working-breed mindset — needs purpose and structure -Best for an experienced handler or active family -Has potential to be a fantastic guard or protection dog -Loyal, driven, and incredibly rewarding for the right home   ARIA’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/TUM For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org Photo Credit @bellabernhardt Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/    Use their unique ID NUMBER. Story
#A5739576 Say hello to Al , a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois boy with movie-star good looks - lithe, lean, leggy, and sporting a dense, plush brown and black coat that’s just begging for pets. His long, regal snoot and perky, alert ears perfectly match his curious and attentive personality. Life hasn’t been easy for him so far; he’s underweight with bony hips and could use all the meals, snacks, and TLC to help him thrive. Friendly, cooperative, and eager to explore, Al loves stretching his legs, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells, and will likely adore long walks with a little refresher on leash work. Smart, motivated, and full of energy, he’s an ideal companion for athletic or outdoorsy families - or anyone ready to learn, love, and grow with a loyal Malinois. This handsome boy is ready to find a forever home where he can shine and thrive. Will that be with you?     -1 year 1 month old brown and black Belgian Malinois    -68 pound male - not yet neutered due to picking up a little doggy cold at the shelter, so will need to be adopted on a trust waiver promising to have it done as soon as he’s well -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, due to his little cold, he will need to be adopted on a health waiver - adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 11/19/25 as a stray -pulls on leash, so could use a quick refresher, but definitely potty trained, great with other large dogs, and seems to know basic commands like sit   AL’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/kohkgodeoTk For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org       ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
Eddie is about 6 years old. He loves being around people. He loves playing fetch with a ball. He doesn’t quite understand personal space with new people. Sometimes greets new people by hopping up and trying to lick their face, after that he just wants you to pet him and toss the ball! He does require a lot of space, he has tons of energy. Really good at bringing the ball back to you and dropping it. Knows simple commands. “Drop” “Sit” “Down”(Lays down) “Stay” sometimes works depending on if he really wants to listen. Before throwing the ball say “Go!” And he’ll run ahead of the throw.

These pups are in Palmdale, California too!
