Eddie is about 6 years old. He loves being around people. He loves playing fetch with a ball. He doesn’t quite understand personal space with new people. Sometimes greets new people by hopping up and trying to lick their face, after that he just wants you to pet him and toss the ball! He does require a lot of space, he has tons of energy. Really good at bringing the ball back to you and dropping it. Knows simple commands. “Drop” “Sit” “Down”(Lays down) “Stay” sometimes works depending on if he really wants to listen. Before throwing the ball say “Go!” And he’ll run ahead of the throw.

From the start, he’s been raised at a ranch with structure, love, and purpose. Unlike many high-energy Malinois, Gushen has a calm, steady presence. He enjoys lounging at your side, napping in the sun, and watching the world with quiet confidence. Yet, when it’s time to play, he runs with power, engages the pack, and shows the athleticism the breed is known for. Respectful, non-destructive, and rarely vocal, Gushen communicates more through posture and awareness than noise, a grounded dog who adapts to the energy around him. Because he was raised with the goal of one day joining a veteran, we are especially seeking a foster family to continue his training and socialization. I am having to rehome him due to life changing events, had to downsize, needing to work multiple jobs to stay afloat. I rescued Basil from the South LA Animal Shelter when he was just 3 months old. He is so adorable and cute! He has a smile for days. He is a 1 years old German Shepherd Mastiff mix, a bit energetic, loves to lay in the grass, chew sticks, and curling up with you. He does have a little anxiety of being left behind, and he is fairly well trained. He can sit, stay, hand shaking, can boop your nose with his nose. He just needs a bit more training and patience. I would love for him to have a bit of a yard to run around. He is a good cuddler, loyal, loves to play, and just super sweet. He is good with other dogs (big or small). He has also had all his shots/vaccines, he is neutered, microchips, and all that fun jazz.

Luna is a four-year-old, 50-pound German Shepherd with a big heart and even bigger toy drive. She’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and always up for a game of fetch or a good squeaky toy session. Luna has lived happily with both small and large dogs and would love a canine buddy to romp around with. This smart girl already knows how to sit, shake, lay down, drop her toys, and go into her crate. She’s potty trained, food motivated, and eager to learn—but she’s also not above a little counter surfing if snacks are left out (she says she’s working on it… but please don’t tempt her!). Luna is currently thriving in a foster home with other big dogs and teenaged kids. She’s more than ready to find a forever home where she can finally relax, bond deeply, and just be a dog.
