Meet Brownie! 👑🐾 Brownie is a 1½-year-old, 42-pound Shepherd mix who is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and absolutely convinced the world revolves around her! ❤️ And honestly… she may have a point. 😉 Brownie’s story began when someone found her as a puppy in South Texas in horrible condition. She was covered in fleas and ticks, frightened, and in desperate need of help. Thankfully, her finders took her in and gave her a chance. But as Brownie grew, so did her puppy energy. Her family realized they weren’t prepared for the energy and needs of a young dog and considered taking her to the pound. Rather than allow this sweet girl to face an uncertain future, they chose to surrender her to a wonderful sanctuary where she would be safe. Brownie has now been at the sanctuary for seven months, and sadly, no one has chosen her yet. And it’s absolutely no fault of her own. 💔 Brownie is a wonderful girl who is ready for a family that will appreciate her big personality, give her plenty of love, and keep her busy with all the things she enjoys. 👑 Meet the Diva Brownie is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and definitely knows what she wants! She is a vocal girl and will happily let you know when something doesn’t meet her very high Queen Brownie standards. 😂 Does she like something? She’ll tell you. Does she NOT like something? Oh, you’ll definitely hear about that too! She has a wonderfully expressive personality and a funny little diva streak that will keep her family laughing. Brownie loves attention and firmly believes that she should be the center of yours. ❤️ 🐕 Dog Friendly Brownie loves other dogs and would be perfectly happy sharing her home with another canine companion. That said, she would also be completely fine as your one-and-only dog. As long as she has her people, plenty of attention, and opportunities to play, Brownie is happy. 👧 Great with Kids Brownie would do well with children and would love having kids around to play with and shower her with attention. 🐱 Cats Brownie has not yet been formally cat-tested, but given her sweet and social demeanor, we believe she may do well with cats. A proper introduction and supervision would, of course, be important. 🏡 Working on Her House Manners Brownie is crate-trained and is currently working on mastering her house training. She’s a smart young girl who just needs a family willing to continue helping her learn. With patience, consistency, and a regular routine, Brownie should continue making great progress. 🥾 An Active Girl Looking for an Active Family Brownie has energy to burn and would love a family who enjoys walks, adventures, playtime, and outdoor activities. She enjoys her walks and would do wonderfully with regular neighborhood walks. She also loves playing with toys and would be thrilled to have a family who wants to spend time playing with her. She even likes trying to catch birds! 🐦😂 Don't worry—we don't let her! This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Zayda is a PARADISE dog! All the way from St Thomas, this pretty girl was found abandoned on a property vacant when the owner moved out. Back in the shelter, Zayda was scanned and her micropchip showed she was originally adopted at the shelter, at only 7lbs and 2 months old. Contacted byu the shelter, her owner said she gave her to a family friend after finding out she had allergies. Fast forward 2 years later, Zayda was back at the shelter and we could not resist that smile! Zayda is dog and cat friendly, not a barker, only 43lbs fully grown, spayed and up to date on vaccines, dewormer and Heartworm test (negative). She is a pretty girl, very VERY friendly looking for a new family who will promise to love her... forever this time!

Meet Johnny! This handsome 5-year-old Belgian Malinois mix is looking for his forever home! Johnny is a loving boy who can't get enough attention. If you have a free hand, he wants it petting him! Johnny is currently in training and will need an experienced owner who understands the breed and is committed to continuing his training at home. He thrives with structure, consistency, and routine and needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation. Johnny is dog friendly and can live with children ages 15 and up. His compatibility with cats is still unknown. With the right guidance and a little patience, Johnny has so much love and potential to offer his future family!

Meet Amber! 🐾 Amber is a beautiful 5-month-old Malinois/Lab mix who is as smart as she is sweet! ❤️This gorgeous girl is playful, energetic, and incredibly intelligent! Amber is a quick learner who loves staying active and would make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a fun, adventurous pup. With the right training and guidance, she could even excel at agility, frisbee, or other dog sports. She would also make a wonderful hiking or running partner once she’s fully grown! 🥰Amber has a moderate to high energy level, although she’s not quite as energetic as your typical Malinois puppy. She’ll thrive with a family who can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and opportunities to put that brilliant little mind to work!Even better, Amber is already crate trained and housebroken! She does great with cats and other dogs and would do best in a home with older children, as her playful puppy energy may be a little too much for younger kids.Amber is spayed, fully vaccinated for her age, and ready to find her forever home! ❤️🐾
