Zayda is a PARADISE dog! All the way from St Thomas, this pretty girl was found abandoned on a property vacant when the owner moved out. Back in the shelter, Zayda was scanned and her micropchip showed she was originally adopted at the shelter, at only 7lbs and 2 months old. Contacted byu the shelter, her owner said she gave her to a family friend after finding out she had allergies. Fast forward 2 years later, Zayda was back at the shelter and we could not resist that smile! Zayda is dog and cat friendly, not a barker, only 43lbs fully grown, spayed and up to date on vaccines, dewormer and Heartworm test (negative). She is a pretty girl, very VERY friendly looking for a new family who will promise to love her... forever this time!

They are 2 loving girls, lots of energy but great eaters and sleepers. Lucie loves to swim in the pool or lake, Lillie once in lake. They love company. I bought them for my late husband. I just found out I am highly allergic to them, they just need to stay together, have never been separated, and are good watch dogs. I just want them to be safe and cared for.

Meet Brownie! 👑🐾 Brownie is a 1½-year-old, 42-pound Shepherd mix who is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and absolutely convinced the world revolves around her! ❤️ And honestly… she may have a point. 😉 Brownie’s story began when someone found her as a puppy in South Texas in horrible condition. She was covered in fleas and ticks, frightened, and in desperate need of help. Thankfully, her finders took her in and gave her a chance. But as Brownie grew, so did her puppy energy. Her family realized they weren’t prepared for the energy and needs of a young dog and considered taking her to the pound. Rather than allow this sweet girl to face an uncertain future, they chose to surrender her to a wonderful sanctuary where she would be safe. Brownie has now been at the sanctuary for seven months, and sadly, no one has chosen her yet. And it’s absolutely no fault of her own. 💔 Brownie is a wonderful girl who is ready for a family that will appreciate her big personality, give her plenty of love, and keep her busy with all the things she enjoys. 👑 Meet the Diva Brownie is sweet, energetic, affectionate, and definitely knows what she wants! A proper introduction and supervision would, of course, be important. 🏡 Working on Her House Manners Brownie is crate-trained and is currently working on mastering her house training. She’s a smart young girl who just needs a family willing to continue helping her learn. Malinois/German Shepherd Mix Puppies – Experienced Homes ONLY Yes, they are absolutely STUNNING. But these puppies are not just pretty faces—they are typical Malinois/German Shepherd-type puppies with the intelligence, drive, energy, and intensity that come with these breeds. At just 10 weeks old, they are still small, but they are expected to grow into 50+ pound adult dogs. And they are already showing us exactly who they are: • Mouthy and nippy – they are puppies and are still learning appropriate behavior • High-energy with plenty of squealing, bouncing, and puppy craziness • Tenacious – they don't give up easily • Extremely smart and quick to learn • Driven and intense • Curious, active, and ready for a job, training, and adventure These puppies are NOT apartment dogs. They also are not a good match for homes with young children, primarily because of their natural puppy nipping and intensity. They need owners who understand that raising a Malinois/German Shepherd-type dog requires being intentional from day one with training, structure, boundaries, exercise, and mental stimulation. Breed-specific or very similar breed experience is REQUIRED. We are looking for adopters who truly understand what these dogs are going to become—not simply someone who thinks they are beautiful puppies. Lilly is a 3½-year-old Belgian Malinois mix, 47 pounds, and one of those dogs who reminds you why rescue matters in the first place. She was found wandering the streets of Del Rio, Texas, terrified and completely shut down. At animal control, she was so frightened that she hid her face, avoided eye contact, and panicked on leash. She wasn't aggressive — she was simply scared and didn't know who or what she could trust. Then someone gave her something every scared dog deserves: Time. Lilly went into foster care and slowly began figuring out that people could be kind. She spent months learning that a house could be safe, a yard could be fun, and a human hand could mean a head scratch instead of something to fear. And somewhere along the way, Lilly blossomed. Her foster families discovered a very different dog hiding underneath all that worry: a sweet girl who loves other dogs, enjoys affection, comes over for hugs and head scratches, and is perfectly happy curling up on the couch. In her current foster home, Lily has completely settled into the dog pack and even claimed her very own spot behind her foster mom's desk. Her official job title: World's Best Coworker. 😂 And yes, she still has a little shyness. Lilly isn't the dog who is going to burst through the front door on day one and announce, “Hi!
