Story
Get to know me... I'm Nova! A small female Belgian Malinois mix, 1 year old, 35 lbs, with honey-gold eyes, and I was waiting on death row at a Port Lavaca "kill" shelter in Texas. Bless my lucky stars when 4 Little Paws Rescue saved another group of dogs from this location, and I was included. I am now living in a foster home in San Antonio, having some fun, making new friends, and getting ready for adoption. I am vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, have vet records, and I'm ready to leave Texas behind! My foster mom says I am a great girl with a sweet personality. Friendly, happy, and wagging my tail when I meet strangers, children, dogs, and cats, with no shyness right from the start. I'm fun and playful, but not like a typical goofy puppy. I'm more the calm/focused, smart-as-a-whip type of girl who is eager to learn some stuff. On the flip side, I will take all my dog toys out of the basket, play with them, and then take a nap, LOL! I am energetic, enjoy playtime and running, and have fun splashing around in the water on a hot day. I am also sweet and affectionate without being slobbery. I adore people and am very social. I am a good girl, housebroken, and currently learning to use a doggy door. I am not a barker, but I will bark to alert you when I see an armadillo or deer in the yard. I am okay on a leash, pulling a little but not too hard, and when it's time to go somewhere in the car, I am enthusiastic and will jump right in, ready to hit the road for any fun adventure! Inquire about me today. Adoption Fee: $400 Nova's "cat-tested" video: https://youtube.com/shorts/voSnOD_I6vY * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Meet Remus Lupin – A Gentle Soul Ready to Find His Pack! Just like his famous namesake, Remus Lupin is a quiet, kind hearted guy with so much love to give. This handsome 1–2-year-old Belgian Malinois may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little patience and a few tasty treats, and you’ll quickly discover an incredibly sweet, loyal companion. Remus is currently building his confidence and can be a bit nervous in new environments or around loud noises. He’s looking for a family that understands every dog learns at their own pace and is willing to help him continue blossoming into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. One thing Remus has no shortage of is a desire to learn! He’s incredibly eager to please, making him a fantastic training partner. He’s highly food motivated, so teaching new skills is both fun and rewarding for him. While toys aren’t quite as exciting yet for training, he does enjoy chasing after a tennis ball…but he’s still figuring out that bringing it back is also part of the game! As a young Belgian Malinois, Remus will thrive with an active family committed to providing him with continued training, mental enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to build his confidence. In return, you’ll gain an incredibly devoted best friend who is ready to grow right alongside you. Remus is neutered, current on all vaccinations, and ready to head home with his fur-ever family today! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with unwavering devotion, Remus Lupin is ready to become part of your pack. You will love this boy!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
