Story
It's hard to get rid of my boy but my work schedule has changed. Gusto who just turned 3 is a Malinois Shepherd mixed. He has the body size of a Shepherd 100lbs but everything else is Malinois. He's extremely smart and protective once he's comfortable at home. He has great recall when off the leash and is 100% house and crate trained. He has the prey drive of a typical working Malinois with a great off switch once in the house. That's what made having him so peaceful. Once he's at home,he will lay around with you until it's time for his walk. He's ok with other dogs as long as they don't get out of line. He will smell them and then go about his business. He has no interest in playing with dogs at the dog park. Feel free to call or text (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Meet Sage — Your 2026 Adventure BuddySage is a 1‑year‑old Belgian Malinois mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was originally adopted from us as a puppy, but life changed for her family and—through no fault of her own—she found her way back to us. Now she’s hoping her second chance is the one that sticks. This girl is every bit as fun and goofy as her photos suggest, but don’t let the silliness fool you—Sage is smart. Really smart. If you’re looking for a running partner, a future sports dog, or a companion who thrives on activity and learning, Sage might just be your perfect match. She came to us from Louisiana as a stray puppy alongside her siblings, and she’s grown into a bright, eager, energetic young dog who’s ready to take on the world. What she needs now is someone stable, patient, and excited to help her channel all that enthusiasm into something amazing.Sage has recently recovered from a medical emergency and life-saving surgery involving her intestines. She suffered from Intussusception, a serious condition where part of the intestine slides into an adjacent section, like a telescope, causing obstruction, swelling, and reduced blood flow. She is well on the mend, back to eating her normal diet from a slow feeder and normal play and activity! This could be a recurring issue in the future and would require immediate veterinary care. Will 2026 be the Year of Sage? She sure hopes so.Sage's adoption fee has been sponsored by a community member. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive! Story
Meet Whiskey - The Best Boy Youve Been Waiting For Whiskey is a 1-year-old Belgian Shepherd with all the traits that make this breed so special - smart, social, and always ready for action. He came to us through a partner rescue after a Lancaster breeder decided to surrender him rather than provide care for a paw laceration he had sustained. Thankfully, he was quickly rescued, received the care he needed, and made his way into our hands, and now he's ready for his fresh start. True to his breed, Whiskey is intelligent and thrives when he has both mental and physical outlets. He's been doing wonderfully with everyone here at the rescue, showing off his friendly personality and eagerness to connect. He's the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world whether that means training sessions, outdoor adventures, or just being your loyal companion. Whiskey will do best in a home that understands and appreciates the needs of a Belgian Shepherd. He's looking for an experienced adopter who can keep his mind engaged, his body active, and continue helping him reach his full potential. In the right home, this boy is truly going to shine. If you've been waiting for an incredible, devoted, and fun-loving companion, don't let this opportunity pass you by. Whiskey is ready to be your everything. He will come neutered, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped. To apply, visit www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Adoption fee: $500 Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA Kennel License #5152
