Story
It's hard to get rid of my boy but my work schedule has changed. Gusto who just turned 3 is a Malinois Shepherd mixed. He has the body size of a Shepherd 100lbs but everything else is Malinois. He's extremely smart and protective once he's comfortable at home. He has great recall when off the leash and is 100% house and crate trained. He has the prey drive of a typical working Malinois with a great off switch once in the house. That's what made having him so peaceful. Once he's at home,he will lay around with you until it's time for his walk. He's ok with other dogs as long as they don't get out of line. He will smell them and then go about his business. He has no interest in playing with dogs at the dog park. Feel free to call or text (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Red was supposed to be a Minnesota State Police canine, but apparently he was too nice, not aggressive enough. So my friend brought him back to Maryland for his kids. The little ones didn’t want to have anything to do with him. So, I adopted him as a young puppy… he has grown, but he’s not yet a year old.(Oct ‘25, estimated birth date window)He’s a great dog, loves to romp and play, and he loves to give kisses! But, at my age, 69, he is just too much for me to handle or provide for him the environment he needs to play and grow into the fantastic adult dog he’s destined to be. He needs someone with time, patience and energetic personality to help him reach his obvious potential as a great protector and companion. It truly breaks my heart to let him go, but after nine months of providing, loving and caring for him, I am worn out. I wish that I had more to offer him, but I’m not the active man I used to be.He deserves better. I hope to be able to connect him with the best person and home!

Story
If interested in Ada, apply here:https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPAR/DogAda is a 9 year old, 55 lb beautiful Sato with a soft coat, soulful eyes, and the sweetest disposition. A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, and Ada’s story is one that is both heartbreaking and unforgettable.Ada and her son were abandoned on the side of a road in Puerto Rico. But instead of leaving, they stayed there for weeks waiting for their owner to come back for them. Day after day, they waited faithfully by the roadside, not understanding they had been left behind.Despite everything she has been through, Ada remains incredibly affectionate and kind. She does well with dogs and kids and has a calm, loving personality that makes people fall in love with her quickly. She is crate, leash, and potty trained and has adjusted beautifully to life in a home.Ada would do best in a home without cats, but otherwise she is ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. After surviving abandonment and heartbreak, this sweet girl deserves a forever home where she can get all the cuddles!Ada is being fostered in Baltimore, MD.PLEASE READ:Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home with new people and a new schedule. Please be ready to train ANY dog you adopt! Also, please understand we can not guarantee breed or full grown size of any young dog or puppy.Thank you for understanding.

Story
Beautiful 2 year-old white male German Shepherd looking for a loving, experienced home. He is a wonderful, loyal, intelligent dog with lots of personality and would make a great companion for the right person or family. He would do best with an owner who understands the breed and can provide him with structure, exercise, attention, and continued training. He is not comfortable around young children, so an adult-only home would be the best fit for him. I want to be upfront about this so he can find the right home where everyone will be happy and safe.
