This 65 pound puppy loves to play and cuddle! If Beau had a life mantra, it would be “Make the most of every day!” especially since being rescued from the shelter. He’s full of fun and his goofy demeanor brings his foster family many laughs. Beau’s ideal day includes a nice morning walk, followed by breakfast, of course. Then, it’s time for “work,” and by “work,” we mean patrolling the yard for squirrels. All that effort requires a snack (peanut butter, please!), which he’ll happily “earn” by showing off his tricks! If you need to get things done, no problem! Beau will happily occupy himself with an afternoon nap, a bone, or a squeaky toy, until you’re ready to play fetch or go on an evening walk. After some fun and some dinner, there’s no better way to end the day than with a couch cuddle. A handsome boy like Beau knows how important beauty sleep is, so he’s happy to call it a night early to be ready for the same fun tomorrow! Beau is house-trained and eager to please. He knows “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” “come,” “touch,” and “spin,” and he’s a great listener when you tell him to go in his crate. He’s currently working with his foster parents on liking being in the crate for longer stretches and staying calm when he sees potential playmates (read: other dogs) on walks. Beau is very smart and highly motivated by food, attention, and wanting to make you proud, which makes him super fun to train. He’s excited to learn more skills with you! At his core, Beau is a sweet baby whose only wish is to be loved and cherished, forever. His ideal adopters will be active, experienced with training dogs (or excited to learn), and prepared to snuggle! Beau would especially love having a big yard where he can 'work' and play.
