But instead of leaving, they stayed there for weeks waiting for their owner to come back for them. Day after day, they waited faithfully by the roadside, not understanding they had been left behind.Despite everything she has been through, Ada remains incredibly affectionate and kind. She does well with dogs and kids and has a calm, loving personality that makes people fall in love with her quickly. She is crate, leash, and potty trained and has adjusted beautifully to life in a home.Ada would do best in a home without cats, but otherwise she is ready to be someone’s loyal best friend. Hunter is looking for an active, breed savvy home that understands the needs of a Malinois and will help set him up for success. He bonds quickly with his people and is very in tune with his handler. Hunter does well with other dogs. While he is tolerant of male dogs, he would prefer a female dog companion. He has no history with cats. Hunter loves playing, walking, and hiking, and he does well on leash around both people and other dogs. He is house trained and does well in a kennel as well as a crate. But these puppies are not just pretty faces—they are typical Malinois/German Shepherd-type puppies with the intelligence, drive, energy, and intensity that come with these breeds. At just 10 weeks old, they are still small, but they are expected to grow into 50+ pound adult dogs. And they are already showing us exactly who they are: • Mouthy and nippy – they are puppies and are still learning appropriate behavior • High-energy with plenty of squealing, bouncing, and puppy craziness • Tenacious – they don't give up easily • Extremely smart and quick to learn • Driven and intense • Curious, active, and ready for a job, training, and adventure These puppies are NOT apartment dogs. They also are not a good match for homes with young children, primarily because of their natural puppy nipping and intensity. They need owners who understand that raising a Malinois/German Shepherd-type dog requires being intentional from day one with training, structure, boundaries, exercise, and mental stimulation. Breed-specific or very similar breed experience is REQUIRED. We are looking for adopters who truly understand what these dogs are going to become—not simply someone who thinks they are beautiful puppies. Bobby was saved from going to the pound by my wife. He is very well behaved with the exception that he was never socialized with other dogs. Our current male that lives in our house does not get along with Bobby. That is why we are trying to rehome him. He does get super nervous but if you give him a little time and work slowly with him he is a great dog to own.
