Our Adoption Radius is a maximum of 60 miles from zip code 20906. We do not promote our dogs as house trained or allergy friendly. Rory, 10 months old, 50lbs, female, mal mix, fully vetted and fixed. She's a friendly, affectionate, and gentle baby girl. She's always happy, and loves to give kisses all around. The way she moves should remind you of a goofy 3 month old puppy who hasn't mastered the art of walking straight :) yep she sways :P She has been described as having neutral energy, but will match whichever dog she's playing with. She's dog and cat friendly and wonderful around children. Rory walks well on a leash and will match her foster if they decide to run. She is an amazing dog with a lot of love to give and would be the perfect addition to any family. Rory will be arriving into MD on May 3 and is looking for a foster home to welcome her. Meet beautiful Lizzie...this girl just completed a one week board and train at Apple Jacks and her trainers had nothing but amazing things to say about her...her training program will go with her to be completed with new owner. Lizzie is very smart, energetic and very sweet. She is sometimes reactive to other dogs but also kisses them through her kennel we were waiting for her to settle before introducing her to new friends. Lizzie enjoys affection and lounging on the couch watching TV with her humans. Lizzie also has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which means she cannot digest her food without enzyme powder sprinkled on her food 15 minutes before she eats. She will need this powder on her food for all her meals for her entire life. EPI dogs can live long healthy happy lives. Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match.
