I came to the rescue ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO! And all my family has already been adopted but I am still waiting............................................ I would do best in a single dog home...one great thing about me is...you don't have to trudge me to the dog park.... i prefer to be at home with YOU. I am good with cats too!! Now, if you know the Belgian Malinois breed you will know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain- that is the way to wear me out ;) Doggy puzzles, wearing a weighted backpack, all kinds of ways to do that! Rocket came from a not so good past and I've had her for almost a yr. Rocket just wants to be loved and she is very loyal to her owner. It hurts to have to do this but we had to move from a big property where she was more free to a small apt. it has been hard here for Rocket not being able to run and play like before. Rocket has a lot of energy and she is my first dog, I don't know how to train or work with her. Rocket use to get along with other dogs but since the move she hasn't had any dogs to play with and has gotten more temperamental with other dogs on walks these days. Also, not leash trained. Rocket is amazing with my daughter (9 yrs old) I do believe Rocket chose her when we first met Rocket. Rocket has always been not ok with big men I believe because of her past. Rocket is a great loving yet intimidating dog. She has nipped a couple people but no blood and a lot going on around us at the time. I can't afford a vet bill nor give her the space to run.
