Once I`ve decided we are friends, I am the sweetest, silliest, most playful guy ever! I do struggle with a bit of stranger danger and am looking for a lower traffic forever home that is excited about working with me on all things confidence building! Come on down to meet me and staff can discuss this with you further.** Here is what a volunteer says about me:`Don`t let what may be a shy or unfriendly first impression fool you. A few words of kindness and a little patience will let Mr. Roboto know you are safe. He will then turn into a bundle of affection. What a sweet dog!` **Do you like...Dogs? I have done well with other dogs. Please bring all dogs in the home to meet!Cats? Unknown. My new family would need to be very dedicated to slow, careful introductions.Kids? I`m looking for a home with older kiddos (teens+) that can help train me so I can be the best boy!I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Rocket came from a not so good past and I've had her for almost a yr. Rocket just wants to be loved and she is very loyal to her owner. It hurts to have to do this but we had to move from a big property where she was more free to a small apt. it has been hard here for Rocket not being able to run and play like before. Rocket has a lot of energy and she is my first dog, I don't know how to train or work with her. Rocket use to get along with other dogs but since the move she hasn't had any dogs to play with and has gotten more temperamental with other dogs on walks these days. Also, not leash trained. Rocket is amazing with my daughter (9 yrs old) I do believe Rocket chose her when we first met Rocket. Rocket has always been not ok with big men I believe because of her past. Rocket is a great loving yet intimidating dog. She has nipped a couple people but no blood and a lot going on around us at the time. I can't afford a vet bill nor give her the space to run. Have you ever seen a big doggy PUPPY? Well if you saw my pics, you have NOW! I have a perpetual puppy face, so very cute! I am a great boy, a busy boy and I would LOVE a busy family too!! I came to the rescue ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO! And all my family has already been adopted but I am still waiting............................................ And I am not sure WHY, except I am a smart and busy boy. I would do best in a single dog home...one great thing about me is...you don't have to trudge me to the dog park.... i prefer to be at home with YOU. I am good with cats too!! Now, if you know the Belgian Malinois breed you will know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain- that is the way to wear me out ;) Doggy puzzles, wearing a weighted backpack, all kinds of ways to do that! I love to be challenged and to LEARN what you want me to do to be your new bestest friend!! I want a really nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim with me too! I have a heart of gold and am ready to shine it right on your family, ADOPT ME!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
