I came to the rescue ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO! And all my family has already been adopted but I am still waiting............................................ And I am not sure WHY, except I am a smart and busy boy. I would do best in a single dog home...one great thing about me is...you don't have to trudge me to the dog park.... i prefer to be at home with YOU. I am good with cats too!! Now, if you know the Belgian Malinois breed you will know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain- that is the way to wear me out ;) Doggy puzzles, wearing a weighted backpack, all kinds of ways to do that! I love to be challenged and to LEARN what you want me to do to be your new bestest friend!! I want a really nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim with me too! Rocket came from a not so good past and I've had her for almost a yr. Rocket just wants to be loved and she is very loyal to her owner. It hurts to have to do this but we had to move from a big property where she was more free to a small apt. it has been hard here for Rocket not being able to run and play like before. Rocket has a lot of energy and she is my first dog, I don't know how to train or work with her. Rocket use to get along with other dogs but since the move she hasn't had any dogs to play with and has gotten more temperamental with other dogs on walks these days. Also, not leash trained. Rocket is amazing with my daughter (9 yrs old) I do believe Rocket chose her when we first met Rocket. Rocket has always been not ok with big men I believe because of her past. Rocket is a great loving yet intimidating dog. She has nipped a couple people but no blood and a lot going on around us at the time. I can't afford a vet bill nor give her the space to run. Mickey is a great dog but I can no longer keep up with his needs. I got him about 5.5 years ago from a rescue and he has been a great companion despite some of his issues. To start with the good: he loves fetch- like more than anything in the world, he knows lots of tricks, loves finding treats and he is very loyal.Medically he has addisons disease and requires medicine nightly, and this comes with expensive tests a few times a year to ensure his dosage is correct and it has begun to get too expensive for me to manage.He isn’t bad with kids, just not gentle or very aware of himself, I have a 1 year old and he knocks her down pretty frequently and is not really interested in her at all. He is really high energy and it’s hard to manage that right now with work and a toddler. I feel bad he isn’t getting enough attention/ exercise and know he needs more. I really do love him and hope he can find a loving and caring home with a large yard to play. I can provide his crate, toys and bed.

Lycan has a moderate energy level and usually needs about three days to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his incredibly friendly and loyal. He has experience being around cats, female dogs, and small children he is familiar with. Lycan is truly a wonderful dog, but unfortunately my work schedule has increased, and I no longer able to give him the life and attention he deserves.
