Hello, I`m Scuttle! I`m about 1.5 years old and weigh 62 pounds.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I can be very over excited with new dogs, and would need to be with a very tolerant calm dog in the home. Please bring all dogs in the home to meet me.Cats? Unknown. Slow, supervised introductions would help set us up for success.Kids? I have a lot of energy that might be too much for smaller children. 10+Anything else you`d like us to know, Scuttle? I`ve been stressed here in the shelter, but I`ve shown that I`m a very energetic, friendly, silly girl! I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Got Slick from Greenhill about two years ago. Was a very all over the place dog. Pulled on the leash. Was nippy and very chaotic over all. Trained a lot of problems out of him. He is able to walk amazing by your side with an e collar on. Otherwise he is very husky like in a rebellious do whatever he wants way. He is an amazing dog and I have had him around deer, rabbits, and cats. All of which he has chased but then sniffs and tries to play with. Now he is a husky so he could possibly have a prey drive activate and I would be weary of that. He is a very loving dog and needs his exercise. He needs a home with a yard and some people or dogs to play with. He plays great with dogs. I have to come to terms with reality and a husky is not a trailer life dog. His needs are not met and that is why I have chosen to get rid of him. I also work over 10 hours a day so he is practically neglected for 18 hours. I’ve put time into him and I really want to see him go toa good home. Thanks for looking!

She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. We love our Ozzy boy and are sad to consider rehoming him. We had our first baby about a year and a half ago and have tried our best to make it work. Our biggest concern is him not getting enough stimulation anymore. He’s never gotten aggressive with our baby but he gets nervous when our baby goes towards him since babies don’t always know how to be gentle or behave around dogs. He loves his daily walks but his favorite thing is to be off leash and be able to roam. He has a sensitive stomach that he receives medicine for each night. We simply get a syringe and administer the medicine orally which he takes really well. It’s managed good at this point and his medicine is about $60 every month and a half. He has a big heart and we will miss him a lot. He has a super gentle nature and is instinctually a teddy bear even though he likes to act like he’s super tough. We want to rehome him to somebody post that can provide enough companionship and entertainment.
