This is Ryu, he is an extremely good boy and it breaks my heart to have to rehome him. It was always my plan to have him until his last breath. The past few months he has shown behavioral changes towards my six year old son, and it has become a dangerous environment. I can not stand by and just wait for a horrible accident to happen no matter how much I love this puppy. Surrendering him to a shelter is my absolute last option. He was born August 23rd, 2021 and I have had him since he was nine weeks old. He was given initial vaccinations by his parents owners, and unfortunately with the way life has been for our family he has not been to the vet. He is an exuberant, healthy, and ridiculously cuddly dog. He acts at if he is still in his first year of life, and he does have issue with jumping out of excitement. He is house trained, and knows commands like sit, stay, up, down, etc. He is wary of strangers, but the perfect guard dog. He warms up fast to humans but not animals.

Ruby, formerly known as Miss Scarlett, is the sweetest little pup! She’s potty trained and loves the companionship of another dog. Ruby knows her name and to sit, and is learning “paw” and “lay down”. Ruby is a dream on leash. She likes to stop and smell the flowers but easily keeps pace on a run. Ruby would thrive in a house with another a dog. Ruby is crate trained for the night as well as when she’s home without supervision. Ruby has some separation anxiety when left alone, but luckily feels right at home if she’s in the house with another dog. She loves companionship and cuddles. She has yet to tear apart anything but toys and is great at sharing with other dogs. Her favorite games are tug of war and fetch. She is a high energy but low maintenance dog because she keeps herself occupied with toys and her canine companion.

We adopted Portia from the Georgetown Animal Shelter in 2015 . She is a 10 year old Golden Shepherd, we were told that she was house trained, we learned that she was not. She's been through a full training class and knows her basic commands. We adopted our second dog not too long after that, about 4 months ago Portia attacked Orion for what seemed like no reason, at that point we separated them and a few weeks later when we tried to reintroduce them she attacked him again within 5 minutes. She's never been aggressive towards our other puppy or towards any people. She was diagnosed with severe Separation Anxiety just recently. We don't know what triggers her aggression towards our other dog but would like to see her in an active home with lots of love, attention and patience, where there's no other dogs or children until her triggers can be determined. She's a very sweet dog though, loves to give hugs and kisses and has a lot of life left in her, she LOVES to run and cuddle up to you.
