Murph was found as a stray when she was about 4 months old. She was fostered by the family that found her for about a month, before they were able to get her admitted into Austin Animal Center. I took her home about a month later. As a result of these early difficulties, she gets very anxious every time I leave the house. She is slightly reactive, mostly in the form of becoming quickly overstimulated, so she needs a lot of help to manage her emotions when on a walk. For the first three years I had her, I was working from home, but I have recently started a new role working in an office, and I am no longer able to provide her with the companionship she requires. A new home would be one that could provide her with opportunities to build her confidence. She loves having a job to do, so she is great at playing fetch and catching a frisbee. She is extremely loyal, and her biggest desire in life is being a good girl. She is very food motivated, sweet, and loves physical attention.
