River is a lovely 2.5-year-old Malinois mix with a gentle, friendly nature. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves people of all sizes—she’s the kind of dog who fits easily into almost any home. River is housebroken with the use of a dog door and is a low-energy girl who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. She does great in a kennel and is an easy, calm companion in the home. She enjoys her walks, loves treats, and is always happy to just be near her people. This sweet girl has completed her heartworm treatment and is expected to test negative at her next check. If you’re looking for a loving, mellow dog who’s ready for a fresh start, River might be the perfect match! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
