Ike has completely stolen his foster mom's heart with his sweet personality, amazing manners, and love for everyone he meets. Ike is one smart little guy—he practically housebroke himself! He figured out the dog door in just one minute and has not had a single accident inside. He also does wonderfully in his kennel and sleeps through the night like a champ. This happy boy loves everything life has to offer. He enjoys wrestling and playing with his foster dog siblings, but he also knows the importance of cuddle time and loves snuggling with his favorite people. Ike does great with everyone he meets and has a fun, social personality that makes him ready to take on the world. Ike's dream family is one that will include him in their adventures and take him along wherever they go. He is a social butterfly who wants to experience life with his people by his side. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, playful puppy who is already showing what an amazing companion he will become, Ike is ready to be your new best friend! Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $250. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
