Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Estraya! 1 year old | 40 lbs | Malinois I’m kind of an awkward teenage girl, still figuring out how to dog.   I’m a little quirky, but I’m also sweet, smart, affectionate, and eager to learn. When I’m excited to see someone I love, I do the cutest little jumping spins!     Things I’m good at : Great off-switch! For a high-energy breed, I’m really good at knowing when it’s time to settle. When playtime is over, I’m happy to relax. Awesome on leash — I walk right beside you and consistently check in. Cars and loud noises can startle me, but I’m learning! I even sit and wait for you to tell me when it’s time to cross the road. Potty-trained with a consistent routine Polite house manners — no jumping, begging, or counter surfing. I am learning to sit and wait to be released through doors. I also rarely bark. Crate trained — I sleep through the night in my crate and hang out there during the day. I may protest for a minute, but then I settle. Good recall with people I trust, plus I know sit and down   Things I love : Wrestling and zooming around with my foster siblings Organizing my plushie collection Cuddles and pets from humans I trust Peanut butter and bones Cozy, quiet time after a busy day My forever family: I’d thrive in a home with a confident, playful dog(s) who can show me the ropes. I’d also do best with older kids who understand boundaries.   I’m a little awkward. I’m a little silly. I’m absolutely amazing. Apply to meet me, and I might just be your perfect best friend. https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 2, 2026, 2:28 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rex-a-saurus !  10 month old male, malinois/german shepherd mix!  45 -50 pounds shouldn’t get bigger then 60 pounds  Drives- medium drives all round! pack drive and toy drive maybe a little above the rest!   Commands- look there’s a lot to learn! But as far as human words I’ve been taught “sit” “platz” “here” though the hand signals help a lot! I’m also a very good leash walker! I would make a great running/jogging companion Kid friendly?- I’m super sweet but still learning my size! so bigger/dog-savvy kids 12+ would be best.   Dog friendly?- I Love dogs!!! So to continue teaching me neutrality is important! I’m non reactive & respectful of their corrections! I also like to steer clear of the fence fighters!  Having a bigger dog around who has a similar play style would be soo fun! I grew up with 4 siblings so this is all new to me and the little guys think I’m too rough.   animal friendly? - I do have some decent prey drive but I’m still figuring out the world              I could be ok in a home with a cat that sticks up for it self.                                              Rabbits and birds are way too fun to chase and always show off so probably best in a home without these guys!                               I’m pretty cool with farmyard critters, I keep my distance with the super big guys and under supervision I should get along with all of them! People friendly?- yep! I get excited but I try to be polite too! Learning to limit my mouthiness and jumping. I’m very attentive and loyal.  Crate trained?- yes! yes! yes!!! If you work a 9-5 we should get on great, I love and need my naps ! Just make sure to give me a walk before and after with some training and play! If you notice me getting a little frazzled it just means I’m ready to snooze in my crate! If you leave me with some toys I’ll be very happy!  I’m still learning so much about human life so a patient person willing to show me the ropes and keep my confidence building is a must! My foster mum says I’m a very good dog with a ton of potential!! It would be great if I was to eventually get into a doggy sport !   At heart I’m really just a big softy waiting to please my forever friend. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Derek McDreamy    Paging Dr. McDreamy!   If you’re looking for a handsome, goofy, ridiculously sweet puppy with a heart of gold, Derek McDreamt is ready to see you now. And yes, he absolutely lives up to the name.    Derek is a 5-month-old Belgian Malinois who may be one of the most perfect puppies you’ll ever meet. He currently weighs around 35 lbs and is expected to grow into a handsome 70–80 lb adult.   His specialty?  Making friends with absolutely everyone! Derek has the best personality and genuinely believes everyone he meets is his new best friend. He has been fantastic with other dogs and loves chasing around and playing with his foster siblings. He’s still learning proper puppy playtime etiquette, but he’s a quick learner and is doing great.   Like any Malinois, Derek is an energetic boy who will need an active home. He isn’t quite as intense as your stereotypical Malinois, but he will still need plenty of exercise, training, enrichment, and things to keep that smart puppy brain busy. His ideal person will be someone who wants a dog they can have fun with and continue training as he grows.   And then there’s his goofy side. Derek hasn’t quite figured out the whole “toy” concept yet, but he’s working on it. His absolute favorite activity, however, is playing in the pool! He LOVES water and could happily spend his day splashing around and chasing his friends.   Despite all his puppy energy, Derek is also a total sweetheart. He loves his people and will happily come over and lay beside you when you sit down. He’s the kind of puppy who wants to be part of whatever you’re doing.   He is currently working on potty training and, impressively, has not had a single accident! He is also absolutely amazing in his crate. He may whine for a little bit here and there, but he settles down shortly afterward. He even eats his meals in his crate and is learning that his crate is his safe.    Because Derek is a big, energetic puppy who is going to grow into a BIG boy, we think he would probably do best with older children who are less likely to be knocked over by an enthusiastic 70+ lb teenager.   Derek’s ideal home:  Active and ready for an energetic dog  Interested in continuing training and working with a smart puppy  Someone who wants an adventure buddy AND a cuddle buddy  A home willing to provide exercise, enrichment, and structure  Older children would likely be the best fit   Derek McDreamy is handsome, hilarious, affectionate, social, and just an all-around fantastic puppy. He has so much potential, and we can already tell he is going to grow into an incredible dog with the right family.   His diagnosis? Terminally handsome with a severe case of puppy personality.  If you’re looking for your very own McDreamy, Derek is accepting applications now. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello Jurassic Park lovers, let me introduce myself… My name is Stego Saurus   I am10-month-old male BelgianMalinois/Shepherd Mix. I weigh about 50 pounds and should be about 60 pounds when fully grown, small for a dinosaur. * WINK WINK* My past was sketchy, it doesn’t matter now.  This Stego Saurus is ready for a new life! I love everything, dogs, people and kids would be great.  Because I am a big dog/dinosaur, kids a little older would probably be better suited for me.  I have not met any cats, but I am such a loving dog, and I do not hyper fixate on things!  I am confident and affectionate. In the short time I have been in a real home, I have mastered a few great things.  I am potty trained I sleep quietly in my kennel with no accidents.  It is a safe place for me I love toys I am great with everything I will come when you call me, unlike a real dinosaur, I want to be with you  I can walk on a leash – I’m still learning, but I love walks Things you should know about me. I am intelligent, I really would love a job and a good walk. I learn quickly and I remember what you teach me; I can solve problems.  I would do amazing in an active family that keeps me mentally stimulated. I AM food motivated and this is a great way to train me for new tricks! Cool things about my breed mix…bonding quickly, intelligence, panoramic vison, ‘Bat’ ears, head tilts, loving and sociable, shedding, a lot of shedding , and lastly, we are heroes who will protect their families. Finally:  I will talk to you in a way that says,” Hey, I’m right here, can you see me, please boop my nose, give me butt scratches, stop ignoring me.”  I will sometime judge you; you will know when I do. If you need protection from a squirrel, random plastic bag, leaves blowing, the dish washer, a stick on the lawn, don’t worry, I got you! I am worth the meet and would love to do just that! If you would like to meet me in person please apply at, https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 2, 2026, 2:28 pm

Story
Meet Abuelito Male DOB: May 23, 2023 Weight: 40 pounds (medium) Breed: Belgian Malinois / Carolina Dog Mix Neutered (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Abuelito is an incredibly loving, gentle soul with a tender personality and a heart full of affection. He is sweet, calm, and deeply people-oriented, enjoying companionship and closeness with those around him. He has the kind of soft, loving energy that makes everyone feel instantly comfortable. He also gets along beautifully with: Cats Dogs People Abuelito is described as extremely affectionate and very gentle, making him the kind of dog who simply wants love, connection, and a peaceful home where he can feel safe and included. As a Belgian Malinois / Carolina Dog mix, Abuelito may show traits such as intelligence, awareness, loyalty, and strong emotional bonds with his family. While Belgian Malinois mixes are often known for being active and intelligent, Abuelito appears to have a calmer, softer temperament that makes him especially endearing. Abuelito would thrive in a home that can provide: Daily companionship and affection Moderate exercise and walks Structure and consistency Inclusion as part of the family He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, loyal, and emotionally connected dog. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Abuelito will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and consistency Continued socialization and engagement Patience during adjustment periods Routine and companionship Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Abuelito will need: Daily walks and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine wellness exams and preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping him live a healthy and happy life. Abuelito is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
