Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Chico is a friendly boy that loves to hold your attention. Chico will need some help learning not to pull on his leash. Chico knows the sit command and can learn more commands with the help of lots of treats. Chico is likely housetrained as well. Chico seems a bit unsure of the dogs at our shelter and will likely chase a cat. Chico would be best in a home with just adults.Weighs 71 pounds; $25 to adopt

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Tramabond! This beautiful girl is a 10 month old Belgian Mal mixed with a little GSD? You wouldn’t know by looks very much , but she has a great off switch. Growing up as a stray then to the shelter she is a bit on the shy side at first and will take a bit to warm up to her new home! But once she knows she’s your girl, she won’t leave your side ! Crate trained and knows to go outside to potty but will of course need a refresher to the new routine’s . She’s not a “crazy Mal” by any means and is perfect for a person wanting a Malinois but not sure if they can handle the energy. This girl is the best of both worlds ! She is weary of strangers and won’t approach strangers people on our hikes to Tanner. She likes the water and would love a home with another dog she can learn the ropes from ! She would make a great dog for a couple , or a single person looking for that “scary dog privilege “ without having a liability. She walks great on a leash and is very food motivated to learn ! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet CPO Sharkey.  This boy is almost 4 months old and a striking Belgian Malinois.  He is a zany, happy go lucky pup who loves people and other dogs.   Sharkey weighs about 25 lbs now and will grow to be up to 65 lbs.   CPO Sharkey is learning potty training, manners, confidence and that snuggling is the best.  He has been around other dogs big and small and loves them all.  He has a friendly and affection demeanor.  Sharkey is kennel trained and takes  treats gently.  He has been learning sit and walking on a leash.  He does get so excited to see people that he has a hard time not jumping up.  We are working on that.  He has been around puppies and small dogs and does well. He has not seen cats yet.  He loves children but due to his excited nature, children over 8 to 10 are best.   My new home will have to understand the breed and what goes along with having a handsome Malinois.  Sharkey will need training, structure, socialization and lots of activity and exercise.  He is very loyal and smart.  If you are interested in meeting CPO Sharkey, put an application in today at   https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello there, Sergeant Starsky and Detective Hutch reporting for duty. We are striking Belgian Malinois brothers. We are 4 months old and currently weigh about 26lbs. When we are grown we could be 60lbs or more. Don't let our future size fool you, we believe we are lap dogs. We are currently working on potty training and if kept on a regular schedule we have it mastered.  DId you say food? We thought so. Both of us are highly food motivated. Both of us love our K9 foster siblings and love meeting new people. Our foster mom mentioned these things called "cats" but we've never met one. Our perfect home would be with someone who understands our breed and will help us with training so we can be the best boys we can be. Due to our high energy we would do best with kids older than 10, we would hate to knock a little human over.  Now that we've covered the basics let's get down to the nitty gritty...   Sergeant Starsky here, ready to steal your heart one head tilt at a time. I'm a goofy pup and love to play. I'm currently learning that my crate is a safe space and isn't so bad. I still need a little more convincing. I'm eager to learn, my foster mom has taught me to sit, lay down, and is teaching me leash manners.    Nice to meet you. I'm Detective Hutch, I'm a sweet boy and want to be by my foster moms side at all times. I love head scratches and laying on her lap. Like my brother I'm learning that my crate is a safe space, I don't need as much convincing as he does though. I'm a very quick learner. My foster mom has taught me to sit, focus on her, and also  leash manners.    If you believe we could be the perfect companion you can apply to meet us at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 1:16 pm

Story
Axe is an 18 month old AKC Registered Purebred Belgian Malinois. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on all his vaccinations. His dew claws have been removed on both front paws. Axe does well with strong leadership, has had extensive obedience training, and knows multiple commands - sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, off, out, heel, return, place and some fun ones like touch, watch, shake, spin, and high five. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He is good on leash and at learning boundaries (for example, we taught him not to go past the kitchen island or out a door without permission). He is a quick learner and picks up on what you want him to do fast. Definitely food and toy motivated, but also praise/affection motivated. His absolute favorite thing is to play fetch or tug a war. He is super affectionate and loves to cuddle or just be near his people. He is reactive to small dogs.
