Story
Say hello to Bailey, the soft-hearted snow angel with the soul of a poet and the heart of a cuddlebug. With her striking white coat and soulful eyes, Bailey may seem a little reserved at first—but once she trusts you, she’ll melt into your side like she was always meant to be there. This shy sweetheart takes her time to warm up, but the wait is worth it. She’s all about quiet companionship, gentle tail wags, and resting her head on your lap with a look that says, “You’re my whole world now.” Bailey thrives in calm environments where she can feel safe and loved. She’s looking for a patient, kind-hearted human who understands that the best kind of love is the one you earn—and once you earn Bailey’s, it’s forever.

Story
Django is a 9 year old German shepherd/malamute/wolf mix dog. He is fully house and potty trained and does really well being alone in the house. We love him very much but due to some behavioral issues and our current housing situation we are unable to keep him. Django does well with dogs, especially female dogs but is wary of new people and children and needs an experienced owner/trainer to help him with his reactivity to strangers. He has a history of biting when a stranger approaches/tries to touch him without getting to know him first. He needs a home with no children or cats but could live with other dogs.

Story
Meet this sensitive girl whose heart is bigger than her adorable ears. She is estimated to be a 2 year old German Shepherd Dog. She LOVES to play (and play and play). She's an affectionate goofball with endless enthusiasm who deserves to live her greatest adventure yet. Roxy can be shy/fearful with new people. She is very friendly when people give her the time and space to go at HER pace to get comfortable. When someone imposes themselves on her quicker than what she feels safe with, she may fearfully react. Roxy's foster parents will work with her new family to have a smooth, low-stress, incremental transition for her so that everyone is set up for success. In order to be considered as the future protector of her heart, below are the must-haves: -A fenced-in yard with plenty of open space -An active home with at least 1 other active dog to help her burn energy and save both your and her sanity -Someone home most of the day -A 'controlled' environment that does not have 'strangers' going in and out. See more about Roxy here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_m4RvCK0JoDogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Roxy's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Roxy, or another CAWS animal, please fill out an application here: http://caws.org/adoption-application. Story
Hello! My name is Mav and I'm a 5-6 year old Shepherd mix and I'm such a good boy. I am crate trained, but I am trustworthy to be left in the house when gone and I prefer that. I don't mark and have never had an accident. I get along great with kids. I am great with most dogs and possibly with dog savvy cats. I am a big guy and love to play fetch or with toys, so having a yard would be best. I'm such a smart boy and have learned a lot in training with Train Walk Poop such as place and recall practice. They will provide a free training class for his new adopter if interested. I don't need a lot, my foster family takes me on a couple of walks per week, provides me toys, and throws the ball a few times per day in the backyard and I am good. I walk really well with my training leash on and I respond to leave it and the watch command. I am a Shepherd and will always have protective instincts, but I have learned a lot in training that has helped me. If you give me a chance, I would be so grateful and the most loyal companion. To meet Mav, fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
Meet Gracie, a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and a spirit bursting with joy! This 80-pound beauty is the perfect blend of affectionate, playful, and devoted. Gracie is happiest when she’s outdoors, whether it’s exploring on walks or engaging in her favorite pastime—playing fetch. She’ll gently drop her ball at your feet, gazing up with those soulful eyes, ready for the next round. While treats aren’t her thing, Gracie’s true motivation is toys, and she loves nothing more than a rousing game in a fenced yard. Her striking looks match her strength, both physically and mentally, and she thrives with humans who can provide her with consistent guidance and fun mental challenges.Gracie is house-trained, crate-trained, and a quiet, polite companion indoors. She may occasionally forget her house manners (a countertop can be tempting!), but she’s a quick learner who responds well to gentle corrections. Gracie adores her humans and wants to be the center of your world—she asks for a home where she can soak up all your love as the only pet.If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate best friend to share your life with, Gracie is ready to be your devoted companion. Give her a chance, and she’ll fill your days with endless joy and unconditional love!To meet Gracie, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application.
